Just been done over for £100 because of the tiniest scratch on a tyre that could well have been there before I rented the car, a scratch which is barely noticeable unless you absolutely know where to look very close up. I will be putting in a complaint and checking whether people have been charged for the same thing on the car previously (because it is an absolutely terrible company policy - huge company like this rinsing customers of more money for a tiny blemish), will also be asking for record of previous inspection.
This is not something you would check in such detail before driving off, body work - yes, every tiny detail on the tyres - impossible.
Be very aware and very careful of this if you are thinking of using this company.

These are lightweights, customer service is exceptionally poor.
Excuse was tyre puncture ( to change a tyre it doesn’t take hours) after they gave us seven seater vw shiran.paid full . The wipers wasn’t in good condition. The car smells of cigarettes at least they can clean the car before they hire out.enterprise used to a good company not any more.
Eventually a car arrived that they could offer me but it was covered with company and car club logos which I wasn’t expecting. I decided to take it as I was in a hurry.
Then they had a problem with their payment system and it took a while before I could pay the deposit.
When the car was ready I was told it didn’t have any petrol and the fuel light was flashing.
I must have told the staff that I was pushed for time about 6 times but there was no urgency to help me get away at all. They even try to sell the idea of car club to me. It took nearly an hour before I drove away.
Customers came and went and I was still waiting. One staff started dealing with me and then walked off to deal with something else. Another staff would come and I had to start the process all over again.
For a well known brand the service I received was very amateur and I’m being polite.
I sent a complaint to their Branch Manager Patrick Dowling 3 weeks ago but no response yet.
Let it be noted that 2 days ago I was renting car via the same company in a different branch with a debit card.
This branch is obviously in the business of ruining Christmas. Good job.
