Monarch luxury car hire

Ok so granted this is just my experience and maybe it was my fault for assuming, but this isn’t the sort of company you use to actually rent a vehicle for a length of time eg 3 days +.
I needed a larger vehicle, suv size for around a week, maybe 10 days. The weekly rate was around £1700!
Enterprise (who are also unreliable but I’m using them just as a comparison) quoted me £160 for the week for a large suv.
I think this is a special occasion company and not a rental car company as advertised.
