After just 1 month of having the carpet laid, we have had no alternative but to seek advice from a reputable experienced firm and replaced the offending carpet, of which we are more than well pleased with.
It goes without saying that we will not be recommending TRINITY CARPETS
You then have to fight to get what you have paid for and deserve.
Vynal flooring fitted badly big gap between skirting board and flooring.
Scottish guy, Stevie, very very rude, told us it was the skirting board that was the problem not flooring - He then went on to say we pay him £20 and they'd put some silicone down the gap (lack of professionalism and knowledge). Spoke down to me and my mum thought we'd fall for his lies being women it seemed.
Finally had some luck when spoke to Mark (very helpful guy) agreed to replace flooring for me and agreed quality of fitting was the problem also he was mortified when I told him my experience. he asked me to go back in and choose new flooring. I did this. When I left sales guy went straight to Stevie laughing as I looked back into store.
Weeks later Speaking to Mark as I had no contact. Funny, there was no record of me going back in choosing flooring! Luckily I took photos of flooring I chose
I do have to say Mark was very very helpful and he was stuck in the middle trying to assist me and dealing with not knowing I'd been into shop again as not documented by the sales guy (wish I remembered his name). I actually joked to family that they hadn't documented my choice when I seen him go straight to Stevie laughing once I'd left. But shockingly it was true after a family member went in spoke to Mark about me having no contact, Mark resent an old email asking me to go in store, I rang him telling him I did and I chose flooring, he was shocked as no details and when he spoke to guy he couldn't remember what I chose so I received a photo of completely different flooring. Thankfully I took a photo myself and emailed to Mark.
Mark was great, so was the LVT flooring guy and quality of flooring. Carpet and vynal now sorted also.
No thanks to the sales team in store! I'd never go back so many issues and rude comments lies.
