A small but interesting set of ruins with fully intact gate house. You are able to walk to the top of the front gate via stairs on the right side.
Site offers a manually operated voice information post. Highly recommend you listen to get a better concept of the time period and location.
Good spot for picnics and is dog friendly.
A nice visit if you are in the Cowbridge area.

Nice gate house, not much else left, parking Right next to the castle, nice place for a picnic, and for the dogs, worth a visit if you're in the area.

A nice little ruin, ideal for a picnic in the sunshine. Car park is right next to the gatehouse with adequate litter bins at the entrance. A little more information would be nice but we enjoyed our visit. Worth popping in if you are in the area.

Lovely remains of a Castle, although it says on the website and the sign outside,it's open , some of the doors are locked and no one came to open them , still it's a great place for a picnic ,There's even a free car park for about 6 cars .

Arrived just after closing time, which was a shame. Small, quiet site - looks in the middle of being tidied up. You can still walk around the green areas even when the gatehouse is closed.

Lovely castle gatehouse and grounds of ruined castle. Small parking area available, dogs able to walk the grounds on lead.

Beautiful castle ruins with a parking area to at least fit 6 cars. Lovely green area behind the castle. Unfortunately didn't manage to walk up the stairs or explore the few rooms as this time around it was still closed.
If you are here please do explore the area around the castle. Next to the river spotted beautiful cows and then the little village is so cute to walk through.

Very small amount of ruins remain but you can go up the steps to explore and the views are amazing. Nice bit of green for the kids to run around.
