Dolforwyn Castle

A single track road for about 1.5 miles of the A483. Free parking for about 5 cars. A long uphill walk (moderate) to the castle. Stunning views from the top. Take a picnic. Free entry. Well worth an hour or so if you are passing. No toilets, facilities etc.

Narrow lane to drive up to parking. Parking for about 4 or 5 cars.
A short walk up to the castle. 1st part is very steep.

It's just a stop off point, not a day out.

Lovely Sunday walk around the castle. Such beautiful views, I imagine even better on a clearer day. The route up to the castle is steep and this time of year slippery so do take care
