Avoid. Mispriced items on shelf and no apologies when told the price was wrong. Also "did not have a game in stock" even though it was clearly on the shelf. Did not even say anything at first until I pointed out the price discrepancy. Guy in black shirt who served me (about 20 to 4 on Monday 22nd Aug) was very rude and did not apologise whatsoever when I pointed out the incorrect price just saying "it's a pricing error nothing I can do about it". It was only £2 difference but he was so rude and uncaring that I left it. I did buy another game but it looks to be very scratched so I pray it works. The guy in the white shirt was very helpful however helping me look into whether an Xbox 360 game was backwards compatible with Xbox One. Usually have good/decent experiences with CeX as a company but this one was downright terrible. I will not be visiting again.

been in the shop for first time, wanted a cheap phone. it was 62 but at the Till £70. I said its called false advertisment. they said their prices can vary and the displayed prices are just approximiate. what kind of business modell is this and what CEX expect from their customer? I left and didnt buy anything... and it isnt about the 8£ diff its about retail principals... i work in retail and we sell how we advertise... even if its a pricing error by us , I'd suggest as a Company Close to tech, invest in digital radio pricetags that can be hooked up with your db... simple. :D your welcome...

They offered 5p for 6 different games we bought from them for a total cost of over £10. Bought a faulty controller from them saying I could return it with the receipt. came back the next day to return it as it was faulty and only offered the money back via store credit, not actual money

I have been reading other reviews and it seems like the management of this place is not up to standard. People constantly review about dvds that dont work, being given unfair prices, wrong prices, having bad experience with staff and more. To be honest i dont think i would want to go here for purchases

The manager verbally abused an employee. The poor guy who seemed like a new worker came to ask the manager a question and he replied so rudely whilst adding c*** . The guy whom he insulted just kept quiet. What an awful manager, he needs to get sacked ASAP!

I bought an HP laptop at Peckham store the manager was to order a new battery up till now, I only tried to make it easier for them rather than collecting my money back the supervisor KC said he will email a manager to advise he ordered a new battery to save them making a refund now I think it's best I get my refund back as first agreed to save me going back and forth. If the manager is too busy to order a battery.

Said hello to the guy at the front and didn't bother greeting me. Asked for a trade in price and the way he went on about it was soulless. If you must go to cex, go to the one in Deptford, had a much better experience over there.

Hi i purchased a samsung galaxy A12 2018 model with in 2 weeks of having the phone it developed a fault where phone won't switch on when I did try to reboot it was asking for update I followed the instructions still no luck..unfortunately I have lost the receipt when I took it to shop eveh the guy recognise me he said he could help to fix the problem...what do you suggest I am completely stuck with this phone..please advice me what step I should take kind regard Abdul hay
