This cex is a joke been to loads of cex stores up and down the country and this as to be the worse one staff don't have a clue what there doing and even talking about taken a Nintendo switch here and it was mint in box and everything anyways they said come back in 45 min need to test gets back and they said there's a crack on the screen can't take it in?? They obviously dropped it on the corner there was a little air line crack and I argued and argued about it but didn't get anywhere they treat people's items in disrespect chuck all the items all on shelf's

The worst cex in Nottingham by far. Rather travel to another then go to this place. The staff don’t have a clue there useless. Said my item failed test yet I’ve took it home and what they said failed actually does work.

Stay away travel to bulwell or town

I always liked visiting CeX stores, and this one is no exception. It is a bit smaller than the ones downtown, but at least you can still find a few rare titles for old consoles. Staff was helpful both times I needed to return an item. It wasn't damaged or anything, we just wanted to exchange it and we had no issues doing so.

I bought a phone with a 2 year warranty, so that I can get any issues sorted if they happen as it’s a used phone. In fact after a month I noticed it was very laggy, didn’t load and got too hot. I took it to Cex to look at it and hope they would help only to be told they’d plugged it in to the computer and it didn’t find a fault so tough luck to me ? What’s that about ? What’s the point selling with a guarantee if it’s means nothing ? It’s absolute rubbish.

I brought my phone to be sold after I received my new one.

I picked the Arnold branch as it's the one I visit most. However this is a general reflection of CeX as a whole. I'm also reviewing as a buyer rather than seller. Good points, lots of choice, easy to find, some real bargains and when served always friendly. Negatives, can be over priced for what is essentially second hand goods. Queue especially at weekends can be huge and you find most of staff heads down dealing with people selling stuff and maybe only one serving buyers which can be frustrating. Also online not competitive at all for media purchases due to postage charge per item!!! No group price. So , yes I use them for convenience and choice but not as often as I could with some service tweaks.

I dropped off an xbox and controller the night before and went to pick up mine money the next day. When I got there they gave me a different controller back trying to say it does not work when clearly it woz not mine, it woz the same colour bt that was it. It was dirty and damaged when mine was in mint condition. If I could prove it some way I would off taken this alot further.
