Disappointed with the service. Restaurant clearly not prepared and took ages to take drinks order and food order. When arrived no rice and had to wait until food had gone cold. To top it all off the order was wrong and some had to be recooked. This has been good in the past may be it just had a off day. However, may have to reconsider the next time when choosing a place to eat in Chester

Aw gutted, not good! Was really excited to try this place. Pinched a king prawn from the top while I was dishing up, and it tasted of nothing, absolutely nothing! Had to add so much salt and chilli sauce to the noodles to make it taste of something. Never had to salt Chinese food ever! And £8 for noodles that weren’t tasty is quite expensive.

Got chicken curry sauce but had hardly any sauce. Salt n pepper chips were normal chips in a box with onions no salt n pepper taste atall. Overall for the price was substandard. Won't be ordering again.

What's happened here? Whenever we stay in Chester we order a delivery from Summer Palace. Today (As per Michael McIntyre) we purused the online menu and decided to order what we always do. However we were told "We don't do that anymore. We've revamped the menu". Online menu hasnt been updated. Anyway , we found a printed menu that had been pushed through the letterbox. Afraid we left disappointed. The previous full cardboard container of Salt & Pepper chicken strips has been replaced with a handful of chicken wings. The 4 X satay skewers was one short and the main course was also not up to previous standard. Sorry but not good enough to consider using again

No where near as good as the Shanghai on Hoole Rd. The dishes and cutlery are grimy and dirty. The food is greasy, the rice dry and the sweet and sour ‘pork’ is more batter than meat. Same price for three people as it is for four at the Shanghai. Do not go here

Under new management. Really wasnt impressed with the new menu. More expensive for less food. Quality of food wasnt as a good as well. Always happy to give places a chance but i was very disappointed

Food was 45min late. Overall ok but crispy beef was so spicy we could not eat it. I have never tasted anything so much spicy. Ruined the meal. Will not order again
