Crimson 8

I visited with my partner before a flight and it was one of the best Chinese meals we have ever had. The food came quickly, tasted amazing and the service was great. The restaurant is lovely. Unfortunately we don’t live close otherwise we would be visiting regularly .. they even made us dishes that are not on the menu as we requested them! Thank you and we will now book all of our flights from Stansted in the future so that we can return!!🤣

While the food is very ….. ok, it is extremely expensive and the portion sizes are truly ridiculous. You would have thought that if they just read one or two of the reviews they got they would see they are losing customers by the lorry load. No one minds paying good money for good food but they need to read what people are saying. It’s a great shame as a few years back you couldn’t fault the place. If you’re going there make sure you rob and bank first and eat before you go coz you’ll sure as hell be as hungry when you leave!

Excellent food and attentive staff. Pleasant decor. Also have a take away option.

Had a lovely dinner at Crimson 8! The ambience was cozy and the owner and staff were super friendly. We felt so welcomed. Our meal began with huge spare ribs. They were succulent and flavourful. The wasabi/garlic prawns were so sweet, fresh and amazing. Enjoyed the burst of wasabi inside. The chicken satay was tender yet crispy on the outside. The satay sauce was lovely but a little more heat would be perfect. Would definitely come back again!

Tucked out of the way in a small precinct, but cosy and intimate. A great selection of set menus, plus the usual a la carte, everything authentic Chinese. We visit quite regularly.

First time using crimson 8 for delivery. Absolute shocked at the small portion sizes. Ordered food for 4 of us but barely enough for 2. Certainly wouldn’t recommend. Better Chinese takeaways in Stansted.

Terrible service ! Arrived at 9pm and staff acted like they didn’t want to be there . Food very below average and over priced . Portions very small . Altogether a bad experience and will not be returning

Well portion size is not of a takeaway but ok it’s a restaurant
But to get there and have to pay five pounds over the advertised prices is not ok
Told we have put our prices up
Never again
