Main Ridge Take Away

This has become our Chinese of choice since Christmas Eve!! Really enjoyed all the food we have had from here the 4 times we've been. Chilli beef is fab!
Look forward to our next take out night!

The food here is really tasty, they have a decent variety to offer and prices are in line with their competitors. The food is prepared freshly and is cooked very quickly so you rarely have to wait very long. The customer service is unfortunately a little lacking and not a super high standard, they often have what appear to be childeren on the front cou ter serving people, and unfortunately they appear to lack people skills. The foyer area and counter also looks a little run down and basic, but the food is the main star if any takeaway and the food is great, I use this place regularly and the shirt fallings in service are easily overlooked once the food hits your mouth.

Very disappointing food tonight (Friday 6th November). I had the lemon chicken. Really not sure why there was pineapple in this haven’t had it like that before. Also wasn’t battered. Not had it like this before either. The rice was stodgy and it seemed very expensive when compared to the price of the food. Overall I’ve got to say has been the worst Chinese I’ve had in Boston and I shall not be returning.

Tried main ridge on a whim after being disappointed in other Chinese takeaways in Boston. So glad we did! Food delicious and nicely cooked, not greasy at all. Perfect Chicken balls and the best special fried rice tasted so far

Excellent setup for Coronavirus safety, sanitizer was freely available for those who wanted to clean the benches or spray their hands. Food was delicious and well priced, the only downside is the electronic tannoy like system is sometimes unclear.

Two stars service wasn't great and food was cold won't be using again

Absolutely shocking service, we ordered our meal by phone then went to pick it up, I arrived at the time they said then I waited outside freezing for about 20 minutes but I thought ok there busy (no worries) then when I finally get in to collect my meal the woman says cash only I said your joking right? She said go to the cash machine in foreign shop over the road. I said forget the order, why did they not tell me on the phone about cash only??? Also what kind of business does not accept card payments especially at the moment? Maybe one that doesn't want a paper trail me thinks
