Friday Night Blues

Service time was terrible...ordered at 7:40pm
When it did not arrive tried ringing several times, but no answer.
Showed as delivered at 8:30 on app...
Rang again...no answer.

Went to Golden Wok at 9:30pm... and showed them my order... promised it would be next, with an apology.

Arrived while I was waiting at 9:59pm.....

NO MORE ORDERS FROM ME!!

Takeaway never showed up, waited over 2 hours, called multiple times and the woman claimed not to know what was going on or having no drivers available, even though this was an Uber eats order. Show little care for the situation.

After waiting 2 hours for my delivery the restaurant cancelled and I haven’t received the refund.

It looks more like a scam that a legit business.

Stay away!!

This was my favourite takeaway until a few months ago. I had a bad meal service was not good when I asked to discuss the issue. Therefore I stopped using it. Forward 5/6 months I thought I would order another meal. I ordered prawns and mushrooms. Took my meal home. Opened it there were 5 baby prawns and no mushrooms in the tray (I had ordered the large). When I went in to discuss. I was told it was the end of the evening when I ordered and they did not have any mushrooms left.
I certainly will never use this takeaway again. I have since used Golden Palace on Commercial way. You have to wait a bit longer for your food. The food is worth waiting for.
Writing this review does not make me happy as I like to support local business. However unless people say anything nothing will change.

Can’t understand orders on phone.
Delivery times shocking, when called they could not even find my order.
Terrible service!!!!

Bought lunch in here in 2015, took it to work. In the special fried rice was a fried blue bottle, never even though about using the place again. Disgusting!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, YOUR ORDER WILL BE LATE AND THEY ARE RUDE… FOOD IS NOT EVEN NICE

My new favourite chinese, tried lots of places when mine shut down. Always have hot delicious food only ever had one problem with food so they gave me a free portion the next time :) sometimes on a Saturday delivery can be slightly late if they are busy but not a problem:)
