HAPPY HOUSE - Fish And Chips Chinese Takeaway

We ordered delivery, came in really good time. Everything was piping hot and very tasty. We will definitely order again

I love Chinese food and have tried every Chinese Takeaway that is local to where I live in Leyland. Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best Chinese Takeaway I have tried. Ordered online for collection and ordered House Special Curry with Chips and Beef with Bamboo Shoots and Water Chestnuts with Boiled Rice. The House Special Curry was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked. The curry sauce was just spicy enough for me. Veg was still a little crispy which I love. The chips are proper Chips, like you would get from a legit Fish & Chip shop. Very nice. Haven't had the Beef with Bamboo Shoots and Water Chestnuts yet. That will be tonight's Dinner as the serving of the Curry was very generous, we were just too full! As I mentioned I ordered online to collect and the order was ready to pick up when I arrived at the Takeaway so was in a out in a flash.

Ridiculous delivery delays. Two hours plus. You will also get a text saying "not long now, your food is on its way" then 35 minutes later when you phone again they say the texts are automatically generated, they didn't send it. Two hours, fifteen minutes and two phone calls later, I'm still waiting . . .

Large chips where nothing more than scraps .. food cold .. first and last time I use this company .. it’s the bin for this lot

I thought I would treat myself. Never will I order from here again. Food was so bad, I made a complain to be reimbursed, the woman slammed the phone down and I was told never to order from them again. I had to put the crispy duck in my own air fryer! The ribs went in the bin. A nurse was on shift looking after my poorly daughter at home and was appalled of the food she saw and the way they spoke to me. Don’t order food from here if your house bound. I’m in disbelief!

Amazing chippy, has been the best chippy in Leyland since time began. The portions are huge so consider sharing unless you are really starving. Gets very busy at weekends & holidays. They do deliver but far quicker if you can collect it yourself.

Been going to this Chinese loyally for years and after an order being placed 2 hours ago and food was not even sent on the way yet, and being offered a measly bag of prawn crackers, I won’t be returning here again. Even if you are busy you should manage your orders and let people know of lateness. Completely out of order
