Wesby Chinese Take Away

Usually awesome food. Today was not as good. 2nd time on ribs and avoiding next time. The chicken balls were tough and not the greatest.
Maybe a bad day at the office as never had anything bad here. Miles better than the Chinese up the road still!

Wouldn't feed it to my dogs, waited over an hour to receive chicken that had clearly been cooked this afternoon, and hot held for hours, chips tasted like dirty oil. Called to complain and after about 15 minutes of listening to them argue in the background. We were offered a meal next week because they are to busy to do a replacement meal tonight! But they aren't to busy to send a driver to pick up the old meals up before giving a refund! Disgusting food qnd customer service is just as bad 👎

Just had 3 chinese meals from here tonight, fabulous. Large portions and piping hot. King prawn battered balls are HUGE. Definitely go again.

Ordered a munchy box tonight and it was absolutely awful the rice taste like wet dog and the sweet and sour sauce was more water than sauce, chicken pieces, wings and salt and pepper chips had no seasoning on you couldn’t tell the difference in taste out of the 3 so was disappointed after waiting over 1hr for delivery, even the dog was turning the chips down so all in all not a great takeaway received tonight.

Food was awful , biggest waste of £20, used to be really good , gone down hill, things need spicying up

£34 delivered almost an hour late last night 11th November the worse ,tasteless Chinese I have ever tasted in my life £9.40 For a mix of starters that looked a week old, special chow mein awful,chicken curry sour taste

We bought a Chinese from Wesby Chinese Takeaway last night, 5th December, and the whole experience was a delight. We had house specials, foo yung, chow mein and vermicelli, as well as some accompaniments such as ribs, and the food was delicious and the portion sizes huge. We ordered over the phone and the food was ready to collect within 15 minutes.
We visit Knott End a few times a year to see family and we will definitely be ordering from here next time.

Aweful king prawn Chow Mein, the prawns were tastless, seemed like they had been pre cooked & re heated and the noodles had an aweful burnt oil taste to them ! Very dissapointing. Ordered 2 for myself and my partner. We could'nt eat it. Waste of money !!
