NEW CHINA Chinese Takeaway

The first time I used this place they got my order incorrect. However, resolved by being free of charge for my next order - only the two dishes they got incorrect. The girl taking the orders on the phone is great - very polite and helpful. On the whole, the food is good, but could be a little hotter on arrival. As an alternative, I'd use Master Chef, but I'm looking for a change.

It's the first time trying this place. I looked on google for ratings. We rang to place our order. The lady that took our order over the phone, was very polite. I collected our order. Still great service. The food was fabulous. The best chinese takeaway we've had for a long long time. Will definitely order from here again.

Tried New China on a whim because we couldn't get through to Lee Garden. Really happy we did as New China is amazing. Good value for money, speedy delivery, delicious food. The highlight was the chili fries. They were so delicious. They were gone in minutes.

Ordered last night for the first time. Ordered chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, foo yung & chips.

Chow mein was just noodles! No chicken in the whole thing, noodles were soggy and it was bland. Didn’t receive our rice, instead got chicken balls (greasiest thing I’ve ever eaten in my life it pooled in the bowl!) and chips were all small and crunchy scraps. Will not be ordering from here again. £25 wasted

I had the worst meal ever very dry prawns dry and hard very chewy and tasteless wouldn’t go there again very disappointed

Always good food never had any issues with the food from here only downside is no card machine carried by the driver if delivered or in the shop/takeaway cash only which can be a pain in the Ar$3 SO PLEASE NEW CHINA GET A CARD MACHINE IN OR WE'LL HAVE TO START GOING ELSEWHERE

The worst chines food I have tried in my life , the food looks old and taste like plastic .I throw away all food as I could eat it at all .such a waste of money.all the review in their website the food is disgusting

Since the steady decline (and transfer of ownership) of Kettering's previous best Cantonese restaurant Lee Garden, it has been hard to find a decent contender.

However after having ordered from a number of Chinese takeaways, I have to say I am consistently impressed with New China.

Its now my Chinese takeaway of choose in Kettering. Very authentic and very good.

I go for the Hot and Sour soup which is absolutely delicious, as is the seaweed, the salt and chilli squid and salt and chilli chicken wings, sweet and sour king prawns.

Portions are large and tasty, and delivery is swift within 45 mins.

On the rare occasion they got the order wrong, they swiftly remedied it. Really great customer service.

Have no hesitation recommending, I order from here every three weeks or so.

Probably not great for my waistline but great to tuck into in front of Netflix
