Eastern Express

The first meal I had was good with excellent service, however, I have since had 3 more meals from there, getting steadily worse, to the point it was exceptionally poor. Chicken that didn't taste like chicken, frozen chips cooked twice in old fat, prawn crackers that were stale. I always thought house special fried rice came with a sauce, erm I guess not. If you don't want to open on a Sunday don't, if you don't have pride in what you serve, shut permanently, as you can tell I won't use again!

Prices are the Swansea average (more expensive and smaller in portions if compared to Blackpool).

A couple times the fried rice was slightly burnt. Nice sweet and sour pork.

Genuinely friendly people, my family have been getting food from here for years and no doubt are the best chinese takeaway in swansea/wales. The food is amazing, the service is amazing. Overall.. AMAZING!! X

Not that I’m an expert on food but no taste to it sweet and sour no taste and chicken balls no taste and small not for me don’t think thar Chinese cooks to be honest

Honestly one of the worst chinese we have ever had. Chicken was like chewing rubber. What I ordered wasn’t what I got and the the noodles were chewy. The food was thrown in the bag and all the containers caved in on themselves so everything was covered in the sauces. The chips only tasted of oil. Plated up for the family as picked up on way home and none of us could eat the meal so had to throw it all away. The chicken curry was ok. Haven’t had food from here for around 3 years when we moved from area and it’s gone down hill.

Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was literally burning my eyes from vinegar also as a someone who lives in London and had 100 times this dish I can say that was super poor version of it not even pineapple or green peppers in it . Chow min was okey but never saw a chowmin with thin noodles in it . Disappointed tbh place smelled like very old oil wouldn’t go there again

Great value, good food, great customer service. Asked for extra spicy sichuan beef and Oooooie! They made an absolute scorcher. Loved it.
