I have found them incompetent at best, dishonest at worst. The item I ordered didn't arrive when expected - no reply to initial email, and when I called to chase it up I was told that there had been a mix up with the manufacturer several days earlier, which I had not been informed of. We agreed that as soon as the correct item arrived with them they would post it on immediately, which they did, and we also agreed that if the item was not suitable for the event it was intended for, they would pay for the return postage, as a gesture for the trouble caused. The item then arrived and it was not suitable, so I paid for the return and sent them a copy of the receipt, requesting a refund for both the item and the return postage. I had an email notification on April 23rd that they had received the return, but no refund. I emailed a couple of times, with an eventual reply on May 8th, stating that I would be refunded by the end of the following week. That's quite a delay, but I accepted it and waited. At the end of the following week, no refund. So I sent another couple of emails with no reply, before resorting to informing them on May 24th that I would be looking into reporting the company and starting a small claims procedure. Within 30 minutes of that last email I had a refund for the item only. I have since requested a refund for the return postage, and have again been ignored. Incompetent & unreliable.
Update: Since writing the above I have received a refund for the postage. Not a peep about my comments on their practices, no explanation, nothing about how they might work to improve. Very disappointing.
Update: I have now had a reply and some explanation from them. I've advised that they update their policies so that customers know what to expect. Best wishes to the company, I hope they are sincere, and I hope they improve and grow.
