Stitch To Fit - Specialist Tailor For Wedding Dresses & Clothing

Ben did a beautiful job with my two bridesmaids dresses at such short notice. He was also a pleasure to deal with and great at communicating and was very flexible when it came to fitting us in for various appointments. He made my bridesmaids feel very good about themselves in their newly fitted dresses and he has a great way of making you feel at ease and relaxed. I will absolutely go to him for all my alterations in future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I cannot recommend Ben and Stitch to Fit more highly. I travel from central London to come to see Ben as he’s so excellent and very professional. He altered my wedding dress for me - he built in structure, cups, attached a belt, sorted the length. He did a wonderful job. He also did three bridesmaid dresses for me. Since then I’ve gone back for other dresses to be altered - including a bridesmaid dress I need for a wedding. I’ve recommended Ben to so many people. :)

I dont think there are words for the impeccable service I recieved at stitch to fit - both customer service and workmanship. I had my wedding dress altered to PERFECTION with Ben. Ben is a perfectionist and to truly understand the process of wedding dress fitting, you need to understand there is no quick fix and in summary you get what you pay for. In my first fitting, I had to have the sleeves taken up and the neckline dropped (I'm petite) only after that did Ben after my second dress fitting even begin to alter the length (and I had to bring my heels!) and take the sides in to fit my silhouette - Ben knew not to take the silhouette of my dress in too much cos otherwise I'd never be able to sit without tearing it!! on my third fitting the only thing left to do was take in the inbuilt cups down. He also stitched my underskirt in to size. Honestly the whole process was seamless and with multiple things going wrong with my wedding due to covid etc, the one person that did not cause me any stress was Ben, and for that there is no price!!! If you are lucky enough to stumble across his shop - Please don't look back!! Ben thank you so so much! No words can express how thankful I am to you!

I simply can't recommend Ben highly enough. He altered my daughters wedding dress to perfection and basically redesigned an outfit I'd purchased for my sons wedding. His attention to detail is outstanding and his assistant executes the alterations with the same tenacity. Both dresses had lace and beading - I can not see where the alterations were made. We travelled from Birmingham for several of my fittings that is how much I trusted the workmanship and pride he has in his craft and business. If it matters to you it matters to Ben - he strives for prefection and to ensure that your 100% satisfied with the gown.

I can't recommend Stitch to Fit enough - fantastic workmanship, fast, friendly service, fair prices. The owner went above & beyond to help me - taking care of my small alteration the same day. He altered the sleeves of my registry office wedding dress. I had also asked about a second alteration to make sure that the front of the wrap dress stayed in place. But instead, he showed me a clever pinning technique that did the same job & saved me money!

What can I say? What an amazing gentleman who completely understood my needs as a bride.
