Wow what a miracle worker Jena is, I went to Jena with a dress I had purchased 2nd hand. It needed letting out around the seams which Jena did for such a reasonable price, in fact I thought the cost of the work would be much more. I had been quoted a lot more for alterations by seamstress who worked from home but Jena was the cheapest by far. She has made my dress fit beautifully and I can not thank her enough for her time and effort she put in. For saying I didn't originally buy the dress from her she has put in every effort and made me feel amazing. She's very talented and such a lovely person who makes you feel at ease from the moment you make her. If any bride is looking for alterations book in and see Jena she will do her most to help you. Thank you Jena you have been amazing!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Jena is! I bought my wedding dress from a shop with an ‘in house seamstress’ as I wanted to have one place to go for buying and altering my dress. As with most wedding dresses, the sample was not in my size, so I when I tried my actual dress for the first time, the back wasn’t quite sitting as I’d like. I asked the shop if their seamstress (who doesn’t even attend your fitting) could change this, to be told they only ‘take up and take in’. This is when Jena came to the rescue! Methodical and patient, I visited Jena multiple times, making tiny adjustments to get the back just how I wanted. Once this was done, it then meant making adjustments to other parts of the dress to make it all fit again. Then I threw in a curveball, I found out I was pregnant! My body started to change at a rate I wasn’t expecting and before we knew it my dress wasn’t fitting quite right. 2 weeks before the wedding, on what should have been my final fitting, it still wasn’t right. No problem for Jena, a little adjustment and back the following week and all should be fine. But when I went, 4 days before the wedding, at 12 weeks pregnant my ever changing body had meant it wasn’t sitting right! Cool as a cucumber, Jena knew what was wrong and snipped straight through the top of my straps! At this point I should have been being panicking but I knew Jena would sort it. I went back 2 days later, with my wedding just 2 days away, to a dress that fit like a glove! Jena is quite simply a miracle worker! Friendly, patient, reasonably priced and an expert at what she does, I honestly cannot recommend Jena enough!

I can’t recommend Jena enough to anyone getting married! I contacted her after being given a list of seamstresses from the shop I bought from, due to finding out I was going to be having a baby 3 months before my wedding and their in house seamstress not being able to work on my dress with such a short timescale. I wanted to leave it as close to the date as possible so I had time to lose as much weight as I could. Jena understood this and managed to get me in. She was so patient and kind and nothing was too much for her. We even got my 3 bridesmaid dresses altered by her. Everything was just perfect! Thank you so much Jena!

Jena altered my wedding dress before my wedding in November. She did a great job and my dress looked amazing and was really comfortable to wear too. The appointments ran smoothly and were well organised and Jena was easy to contact. I would definitely recommend Jena to anyone looking for wedding dress alterations.
