Wanted shoes. Found nice shoes but nobody to help. Totally ignored by staff. Waited around 15 minutes trying to catch someone's eye but nothing. Staff seem to be more interested in each other than in customers wanting to spend good money in their store. Poor service.

I always think River island has a bit of an identity crisis. Love the jeans, swimwear is always good. Great coats. Footwear is usually on point. Other things are hit or miss.

Really nice store got some lovely clothes. I would say personally the clothing isn’t for me as it just seems a little overpriced. However the mens section is just amazing, honestly my partner could spend a fortune in this store. I can’t really speak about the staff because we only interacted with one man on the till upstairs who seemed nice.

I decided to check out their sale; I normally avoid the shops this time of year. I was forced to go outside my comfort zone, as had a dodgy eye so it was off to the triage aka Specsavers. After my appointment, I could feel 'the force', mostly happens to us ladies. Next thing I know I'm going into River Island. What a pleasant surprise, not your usual jumble sale looking Isles, but clearly marked sizes at the top of each rail, all neat and tidy, nicely spread out within the shop. The lady that served me was so pleasant, professional and kind. The staff in this shop (Harlow) were amazing, constantly keeping all the rails neat, tidy and in size order. We all know when we are attracted to an item, how disappointed we feel because some predecessor has decided it's not for them and just shoved it back anywhere. Congratulations to all the staff in this shop for giving me a good experience.

My favourite shop. I always find something I want to buy. I just wish it wasn't as expensive or I would buy more. I did like the store card buy now pay monthly always helps when you need an outfit.
