Today, i came to the shop around 5ish it was a little busy but, settled down to being only two customers in the shop including me. I was already looking for a while but, wasn't particularly sure what i wanted or was doing. I was standing there for some time looking lost by the cashier until the girl working there (who looked reluctant to) asked if i needed any help. Working in retail myself, i understand that people get a little tired towards the end of the day however, i don't believe that this was the case.
After asking for a particular rain coat which she brought to attention to her colleague who somewhat helped and explained to me that the product wasn't available which is fair enough. I then explained my troubling situation about myself and trying to find a suitable coat .I was then spoken over by him to his colleague who was on the phone not sounding anything like a customer call. I asked if it was ok to try on the jackets which he did help me to but, then shortly left me just to muddle with the music speaker in the shop which he had done for most of the time i was there. The only thing i could do was help myself and i struggled a lot as i had no idea what i was doing!
What was intriguing was that the attention was directed more towards the other gentleman in general helping him find new items from storage and asking him " is it alright". I felt invisible and discriminated even if that wasn't the intention. I was hoping to leave the store finding something that would look good and give me the confidence i needed but, from the lack of service and appropriate attitude, its really affected me on a personal note making me feel as though i'm not worthy for their time.
Being quite upset with the service i picked up my bag and put on my coat the female staff glancing at me from the corner of her eye. But, still her best interest on the gentleman trying on the items in the mirror (Male staff still in deep trance with the speaker) She seemed as though she realised she hadn't been the best help but, didn't bother to say anything. No reaction from neither as i left and shut the door behind me. Now, i understand that i'm not welcome there anymore.

Extremely happy with new Rains…
Extremely happy with new Rains coat/jacket. Beautifully made. Gender fluid. When you really want Moncler for Christmas but know this is unreasonable and completely unaffordable, Rains is the answer. Shop is bright and welcoming, as are the staff. Aaron went beyond the customer service remit and replaced my original purchase with a larger size from another branch, keeping me informed of progress as promised. I want it to get really cold now. Phoned three times yesturday and was asked to call back, very dismissive sales assistant. Today I tried again, but as they have no tape measure I used a different store to order 4 pairs of trousers!
