We visited Zest for the first time and was made to feel very welcome by the staff ..The place is absolutely spotlessly clean. The coffee is amazing and they have a very good selection of food. After our disappointing visit to The lime Tree last week as it is filthy, it was nice to go to a coffee shop that is so clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend Zest... Zest is hidden away up an Alley by the post office in Lime Court, but it is really worth the visit, you wont be disappointed

I've never felt welcome here which is the same view shared with people I know. Maybe it's that the staff seem to serve you begrudgingly!? Food is of a good standard, coffee is average and on the whole doesn't compare to the other cafe's in the village. Too clinical and needs soul

Lovely and clean coffee shop. Friendly staff and prompt service. Very convinient as it's opposite the village nursery. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Lovely little coffee shop with reasonably priced food. Even thou lasagne was off the menu, i had an all day breakfast which was lovely, and hot as well. Two others had the homemade chilli which they said was really nice. Had a banter with the owner and will definitely go back. As we have got to try the homemade lasagne

APPALLING! Myself and a few friends popped for a cuppa and slice of cake today but were rudely greated. We'd been to a baby group across the way so three of us had pushchairs. We were instantly made to feel unwelcome and were told, as we sat at a table, that we were in the way so were ushered to the opposite side, which would have been okay if it had been with a smile rather than a cold roll of the eyes! I was stood by the door whilst the unhelpful man went to the kitchen to winge about us. Bare in mind there were only two people in there and might I add, not a lot of atmosphere either! I thought they'd be pleased of the custom but it appeared not. Rather than finding a solution he seemed to prefer our suggestion of finding somewhere else! So thank you from the group of mothers that visited your establishment today, we won't be returning to your 'not so friendly' family cafe. I'll go back to Lime Tree where I'm always welcome and they even hold the door open for my pushchair.
Zest?? Not so Zesty after all.

Amazing cakes and good selection of food and drink available. Staff helpful. Rather cramped layout, we struggled moving pushchair around, hence four stars.

Average food and coffee, and rude owner. I went here to work on a laptop for an afternoon. After I checked if I can work on my laptop with the free Wifi, the owner came over and lectured me for plugging my laptop in as if I had plugged in a few kettles and heaters! Apparently using a laptop is fine as long as you don't dare use the electricity; perhaps the cafe is running on AA batteries? The omelette I ordered was overpriced and watery. Coffee was weak. Waitress was very pleasant however.

Ordered small breakfast.Wife asked for well done egg. When it arrived it was under cooked and very runny.Only parked for an hour so couldn 't ask to take it back. Also found drinks were a bit pricy.Probably won't be going back.
