A very nice and cozy cafe inside the St Nicholas shopping centre, located at ground floor. You can find a great selection of coffee, pastries, but also many options for savoury breakfast (sandwiches, panini, sausage rolls etc.). I really like the cafe has lots of seats, available both inside, and outside (inside the shopping centre).

Staff are extremely nice. I've become a bit of a common face there over the past few weeks for my pre-work coffees and the environment is perfect for a quick coffee or even a sit down and a bit of work when you're out and about.

I have come across great workers and management, I have to say the manager in esquires her names pouela is one of the worst managers going screaming at her stuff members in front of customers miserable face never smiles, grumpy like shea got a chip on her shoulder, she didn't even acknowledge my presence when ordering my drink, her Co work hands down fantastic very engaging.

She needs to be sacked !! Bad for business!!!

A horrid experience! I'm back in Sutton on holiday from Australia. I thought I would pop back into the cafe I thoroughly enjoyed 10 years ago. What an absolute dive it has become. Staff look absolutely miserable and were dismissive and rude. The food was expensive for what it was. The teapot hadn't been cleaned properly. Just a really bad experience overall. Disappointed.

Visiting from Australia. Unsure why the 3 senior staff were all miserable. No good morning, thankyou, nothing. Ordered a mushroom soup with white bread but received packet chicken soup with brown bread. Was too afraid to ask them to change it over. Didn't want to upset them any further. The two younger staff that were there seemed polite. The one star is for them. 🇦🇺

Been going to Esquires since November 2021 and since last May it has become one of my regular places to sit, eat and enjoy coffee with my daughter. I always go there if meeting friends also. The staff have always been friendly towards us as if they didn't I wouldn't keep going there. No complaints from friends of mine who also visited there. It is a place where I can go, feel relaxed and I understand the pressure they get when in their busy times. They do not have much time to communicate and get tired/stressed easily especially due to lack of staff at the moment.

Lovely food, and lovely coffee. Such a baby friendly cafe and they don’t mind my little one crawling around either. Staff are amazing they go above and beyond. Especially Anna and Lainey. Very good with my little boy keeping him occupied. I feel very comfortable popping to the toilet and living him with them for a few mins. Would highly recommend this place x
