Took a 9 year old for a hot chocolate which she thoroughly enjoyed! Good, quick service. While I was there I heard the staff offering to take an elderly gentleman's drinks order over to his table. This suggestion came from the staff not the customer. I thought it was a nice touch.

I really don't know why we come back here, every visit the coffee order is wrong and never tastes good. The cashiers seem very friendly to the older regular customers but not to any spontaneous visitors.

Coming here (4x now) has been unpleasant as the counter people have been unpleasant and unwelcoming. The first time I came to patronise I thought their behaviour was a one off thing but the ladies (esp the older one with blond hair) has been rude but terribly nice to other older, white customers. I am black and you can see the difference in the service. I took my time to notice how she treated other blacks (I managed to witness 2ppl in the 4x I visited -I stayed for over 30mins for each visit) and it was unpleasant. They are unwelcoming.
On my final time here ( as I would not be returning) the woman SCREAMED my order out. And I mean SCREAMED it out bc the whole coffee place (85% full) turned their heads to look at who this order belongs to. Meanwhile the staff with her over the counter were snickering and laughing. This would be my last time here.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Rude customer service. The cashier was nice to all the non-ethnic people, but was very rude and disrespectful to me and my black and brown friends for no reasons. The same exact thing happened to my brother on the same day and he told me about it. I was shocked. Her name was Gemma. The manager did absolutely nothing. Don't spend your money here.

If I could rate this place a 0 i would, I've been a regular here for a few years and its been becoming progressively worse. They have such a high turn over of staff now, and since the new manager Conor started the feel of the store has vanished. I go in sometimes on my way to work when he's in and he's always got his air pods in, making personal phone calls while serving people and he even told me I would have to wait to be served because he was busy on the phone. All of the above made worse due to the fact that there is only ever one member of staff in at a time. He is so rude as well and the quality of drinks has gone down the drain, I never get the drink I order and when I mention it he huffs about it. I have heard many people say they'd rather go to Greg's for their coffee because the quality is better.

Management need to do better.
On Friday 12th of February I came in to store to get a coffee on my way to work, it was around lunch time and there was one member of staff on her own, I was at the back of a very long queue waiting outside, the poor girl had multiple deliveroo and uber eats orders as well as the long queue. During my wait some customers started shouting and screaming at her and you could see she was visibly upset and stressed. She ended up having to excuse herself to get in touch with her manager to ask him to come and help her in which he refused. When I got to the counter I asked if she was okay and she was on the verge of crying me along with other customers told her it was okay and comforted her as best we could.
I have been a regular in this store for years now because it's my local, and in the last year or so it has gone so downhill and they treat their staff awful, you never see the same member of staff for very long and they are all unhappy when they are there. They are left by themselves all day long with no help from management in a very busy store.

Along with many other customers I will not be returning until management learn how to treat employees.

After being a customer here for a few years now, after my last couple of visits I will never step in that place again, if I could give minus stars it would be maxed out but I had to give it 1 to post this. Over my last 4 visits I have had to return drinks because they are cold or had milk put in instead of lactose free. Walked in to the shop floor covered in bags of rubbish and boxes everywhere. Now for the worst bit. The so called manager not speaking and not asking what I would like, I had to ask, while all the time he was talking to someone one the phone. When I finally got my drink I had to ask for another one because it was luke warm. This place as became a disgrace and something needs to be done and quickly.
