Very friendly and helpful service. Amazing ham & cheese croissant, not to mention the chocolate & hazelnut croissant. Everything looks and taste very fresh. Exquisite coffee. Very tasty smoothies.
Will definitely come back. Thank you 😊

We started going here purely as it's next to the best butchers locally.

We are very glad we did pop in though, as it's a lovely cafe. We've been just the two of us and we've been with the extended family including two young kids. Plenty of choice for all the family.

I particularly recommend the choice of little cakes and slices, they are always delicious!

This is now part of our Saturday morning ritual, and we are very glad it is.

Not the best breakfast.. a lot of the elements were really not right.. cold beans???? which were re microwaves
. And still only like warm.. the cup that the beans were heated in was hot!!! Cold burnt toast, cold undercooked water logged mushroom!! Turned it over.. lots of oily water came out of it.. cold, soggy and chewy hash brown... Over cooked bacon.. sausage wasn't too bad... This is: re- heated.. in the microwave food.. not freshly prepared.. and how are the eggs cooked.. ?? Hard poached eggs.. then watery poached eggs.. undercooked second lot.. rather disappointing.. however the coffee definitely delivered.. 10 out of 10.. top marks for coffee.. for sure. Shame about the standard of the food..

I have been to Esquires a few times and never had any problem. The food and coffee are lovely. However, I went there with two friends yesterday, and accidentally dropped my cup of coffee. The cup was quite big and hasn't got the best grip. It spilt everywhere, one of my friends was soaked, as well as the table and floor. There were three girls on duty, one was sat down doing admin and the other two were behind the counter. None of them were busy, it was very quiet in there. One looked at me as if I was 'being a pain'. I asked for rolls of paper, and they gave some to me. None of them offered to help, I got no assistance whatsoever. Maybe I am being 'old fashioned', but if I was working there, I wouldn't have hesitated to help clearing the spills. Is that unreasonable to expect? I would have been more understanding if they were busy. They chose to chat to each other instead. My friends were shocked too. Basic manners go a long way. I gave 3 stars because of this, but I give 5 for the products on offer

A little hidden gem of a coffee shop hidden right in the middle of a housing estate.

Really nice coffee and service. You couod take a bath in the large cups!

Atmosphere was non-existent because there was just a very fed people in on a Saturday mid-afternoon (hence only three stars, but it's not a criticism, just a factual observation on that day), but if you fancy a beverage or something to eat spend your money here not a Starbucks or Costa.

Only downside... Toilet needs some attention.

A tucked away little gem. Very friendly staff and decent selection of Gluten Free cakes. Good coffee and nice venue too, great for an afternoon coffee and cake.

Have been several times now, the drinks and cakes are fine and service ok. But the cooked food is very questionable, burnt toast, undercooked toast, cold and really not nicely made, it’s all microwaved and it seems the staff don’t have much understanding of how to cook it. Food really needs to up its game!

The service is incredibly friendly and, at their best, the coffee is unbeatable (I have had some fantastic flat whites here.)

They are genuinely welcoming of dogs (but don’t ask for a Puppycino, or your dog will never let you leave!)

Can’t wait to be able to sit in and try the breakfasts, once they are permitted to start serving again.

A great addition to the parade of shops which includes Peacocks Grocers and Deli, the Guildford Butchery, and even the Fishmonger on Tuesday mornings
