Over six pounds for two small cups of coffee with grunting service. Requested filter coffee for assistant to ask "wots that?" When the filter machine is in plain view behind him. The tables and floor are dirty with noone clearing away trays. Utterly disgusting and not value for money. Being held ransom on a motorway service station with high prices is expected but this falls way short of the standard Costa experiences I have come to expect

Awesome team with 5 star service! I had a Free Frappe reward loaded on the app and they mixed me a blend of coffee and chocolate fudge. Tasted amazing. Thanks guys 👏🏻👍🏻

15th July 2022 drove to this place specially to have cappuccino as I generally work from home. A much needed coffee after a long busy week. But unfortunately all I got is a hot milk with too strong coffee and froth that selected in second. I Asked for more milk to make it mild, the staff didn't like me, they poured entire tub into my coffee to make it mild. I took it and sat for a while but complaint later and requested a flat white in a replacement. I got the flat white but a small cup although my first order was a large cappuccino. Well the flat white was good. If you are here for a good cappuccino then please avoid. May be Starbuck is better. When u really want a good coffee and you get a bad one your whole day is ruined, mine is 😑

It was very busy today, a very long queue right out of Costa. The queue in a very large part was caused by the management of the Costa. Witnessed by myself and family, there was 2 females preparing the orders (working their butts off)and 1 young male busy 'filling up', dealing with a bin and whatever else, who knows??
All whilst he had a queue filing out the premises, manager was around, saw the queue and did nothing. He chose not to instruct his member of staff to man the till and deal with the queue, that's unacceptable and poor management.
My whole experience of a queue in Costa probably lasted 20 mins, of which we were stood around waiting at the front of the queue for half that.
Before 9.30 and you can't get a sausage bap, poor management, no white bread for toast before 9.30, poor management.

This is by far the worst Costa I've visited in all my time (years) of being a Costa customer, I couldn't bring myself to recommend this one.

Abysmal, possibly the very worst Costa i have ever been to. Filthy, poorly stocked, and rude staff . . . Were to start, the incredibly slow service or the lack of any cakes, sandwiches, bread, croissants or even apparently plates or cups!!! Apart from take away cups. I even heard a member of staff say they were going to have to close because they were running out of cups, surely sombody could go in the back and wash up, its not like they were being effective at serving, the queue was ridiculous and the complaints about slow and rude service and incorrect orders were coming at them from all angles it was a total shambles. It wasnt like the services themselves were busy but somehow the 5 people working couldnt organise themselves, while the 1 person at Pret was doing perfectly well, we wished we had gone there, as for the coffee, worst Costa i have had, not a clue how to make a Latte or Cappuccino, a complaint i have seen written here by others . . .

As for the dirt, there were visible hand prints in the dust on the ledges, clearly itbhadnt been cleaned in a long while, there was ingrained dirt around the edges of the floors and benches and the seats were disgusting, again its not a theme continued throughout the rest of the services they were actually very clean, it was isolated to Costa, you could even see in the dust where the service station cleaners had cleaned the bit they were responsible for and then beyond that the dust in Costa. Avoid at all costs.

Never would I ever think I’d see a time I’d see a time I’d write a poor review about costa. Went to the service station after we passed 2 because they only had a Starbucks. Absolutely appalling service. We went for our usual salted caramel frappe with coffee and cream. The second my partner opened her mouth and said salted she was interrupted and said “it’s now unavailable” rude as anything. No sorry we don’t have that or we have ran out or anything of the sort. They had gone out of their way to put unavailable stickers on what they didn’t have. She was sighing as we hurried to change our order and we went with a coffee frappe I asked if they had any regular caramel sauce or anything as we didn’t know if they weren’t doing it anymore or if they had ran out she laughed in my face and said “no if we had it it would be available but it’s not” she scoffed to which I replied okay there is no need to scoff we will just take 2 medium coffee frappes with cream. She didn’t say anything rolled her eyes and told us it was £10.20. I said I had a costa card and she just looked at me I scanned it and paid. She proceeded to make our drinks with no communication to any customers except to sigh roll her eyes at us and look like she didn’t want to be there. Also left to go get a lid from the back but didn’t say anything so we were confused. She then came back and handed us our drinks without a word. So disappointed as it really is our go to stop we have costa at least 3/4 times a week more if we are travelling like today.

Had a kind cashier, Karl, who gave us the best service. We had brought in 2 reusable cups and he advised us of the size he could fill them to, and did not charge us more than he needed to. Great service while we were having a long journey down.

Just the worst experience ever. 9.00 am Thursday 13 Oct. Just two staff working slowly and getting orders wrong - they had three attempts to get my simple order ready. Never again…
