Delicious coffee in a filthy place. Barristers in Costa know how to prepare excellent coffee. It is a shame dirty dishes stay on the tables for hours. Nobody bothers to clean up even if it is not a busy time for the staff.

Not a bad Costa. Location is just off the square, and there's a decent amount of seating.
It's frustrating how long it takes to get served however, and they'd definitely benefit from more staff.
In addition, I felt the place would be far better with improved lighting. It seemed rather dark, whereas brighter lighting would make it more welcoming.

Was delicious.. i had the spinach, mushroom and egg cob. They heat it up which made it taste even better. The staff are always busy but always pleasant and nice and a service of a smile...

Literally the most friendly staff in this coffee shop. They make a visit very welcoming and this is why I visit more often. I love popping in on most days 💞

The barista who served me today (4.30ish - sorry didn't think to catch his name), genuinely went above and beyond, could see I was overwhelmed and assisted in me getting in/out the shop with a drink in hand with my toddler.
Kicking myself that I wasn't more overtly thankful, but thank you sir. Made a tired stressed mummas day a little easier

Staff friendly and helpful. Coffee as we asked extra hot and it was good. Coffee muffins very nice and fresh.

Shop was a little untidy but mostly OK. Some litter on the floor near the entrance and the counter screens a little battered. Slightly worse than average. Visited mid week am and the shop was relatively quiet. Only 2 in the queue. Had the usual latte. Have to walk to this store as it's in the pedestrian area. Varied seating and all well spaced out. Shop is long with a small frontage so the rear seating is cosy and warm but very little natural lighting.

Couldnt get any hot food was told the grill was now switched off even they wasn't closing for hours no explanation given. Not the usual good standards for a costa coffee venue.
