I absolutely love this place. Great pastries and great coffee. A fab spot to pause and watch the world go by. I can't walk by these days without popping in to buy something.

The raspberry & pistachio is my favourite right now

Our favourite coffee spot in Norwich! All pastries are fab, and great coffee too.

The first time I went to bread source I had a really good coffee, but the subsequent 3 times I've been disappointed. I've tried a few of the pastries, and although they look amazing, they're just okay. My daughter also didn't eat the brownie we got there which is unheard of. I hear great things about the place but unfortunately it wasn't what I experienced.

What a great find. We were sent here by a local when I asked where we could find a great independent cafe. The guy behind the counter, presumably the owner, was enthusiastic and attentive and found us a table at a busy time. The place is bursting with breads and foods baked by them (I'm guessing) and they were delicious. The coffee was also very good. This is obviously well known and liked by locals. It's unlikely that the average visitor would find it. Take it from me, search it out and use it.

First visit and very disappointed. Greasy cold sausage roll well short of the similar M&S product. Coffee bitter and tasteless. Won't be going back.

Bread Source is fabulous, we often stop in a Saturday for a coffee and a treat. I always get a Pagnota too.
This week we left with a couple of cheese straws for later, which were delicious.
The only thing I don’t understand is the branded paper under my cookie - is it needed, I have a plate?

One of Norwich's best kept secrets.

Based within the Norwich Lanes and just down from the Bridewell museum this cafe is very popular.

Coffee, hot chocolate, teas of all varieties are available and the cinnamon whirls are just the best. In fact any of the pastries available are well worth trying.

The staff are friendly as well and are a credit to the business.

Whilst I enjoy the Two Magpies bakery/cafes throughout Suffolk and Norfolk I was recently recommended the Bread Source, Norwich. Wow, great tasting breads, pastries and coffees. Why hadn’t I discovered you sooner? I would thoroughly recommend the Two Magpie diehards give Bread Source a try, you will NOT be disappointed. Looking forward to my next visit……and I haven’t even left yet. 😎
