Great Cafe!
Best coffee house in town really. Great food, drinks, decor, spacious, comfortable table and chairs and the friendliest most efficient staff out there. I am sure the staff get quality in house training...nobody can be this consistently nice all the year round. Only down side is there is no outside seating for the warmer days but the front windows do fully open.

Having great day in Brecon, mid summer. My fav tipple with Welsh cakes. Guess the drinks were having? Coffee 1# is very popular everywhere. Great Ambience.

Lovely coffee, what you’d expect from a chain! Service was a bit slow but not the end of the world.

Lovely café, very crowded when we were here (during jazz festival in August). Staff worked really hard and we so friendly! 30+ degrees outside but my daughter felt like a hot chocolate: not a problem! Different alternatives available for milk in my coffee, which was great. Loads of gluten free options too. Small play area with some toys and books. Definitely recommended!

Lovely place just off the high street. Great seating arrangement in there with comfy seating available. Got a range of drinks with the family all served relatively quickly- although one of the drinks was wrong I didnt want to raise any issues & was happy with my Iced latte. Would go again.

Normally, used to really like coffee#1, but the Brecon shop has put me off. Understaffed when we went, 2 people with one on their break. Long queues, dishes on all tables, waited 20 mins for a panini which came out burnt.

Amazing Experience in such a chilly weather, and Mocha was the best coffee I have ever had and gave the Vibes of ancient experience and positive vibes

I am not a fan of chain cafés, I like the small and privately owned ones, but the Coffee #1 in Brecon is quirky, cosy, has good coffee and is not quite as expensive as some of the bigger chains. A thumbs up from me!
