Since moving to the new location - (ie: 165 New Cross Road) - the shop is now a lot bigger. New Cross Post Office has been re-located inside the shop at the back & is open during normal office hours. It is the main Post Office for the area.

The One-Stop Shop itself also has it's own opening hours & Post Office Counter, suggesting that some Post Office Services are still available during the shop opening times, when the main Post Office is closed.

The Address is now officially 165-171 New Cross Road, indicating ownership of both the new & the old premises. The old premises - (ie: 171 New Cross Road) was very cramped indeed. However, it'll probably take a while for all this information to be filtered through on all the relevant websites.

Thank You!

Beware: the post office isn’t actually open to collect parcels until 8. Apparently, you can only collect parcels until 5:30, which is not helpful when you work a 9-5 job and the postie never left a note anyway.
Fuming that the perishable items I ordered have been sitting in the back of this ‘post office’ for days, even when I told the staff behind the counter that what I was there to collect was perishable.
Don’t have my items and they won’t be good when I can actually collect them after the bank holiday.
Please change your shop hours to reflect that people cannot collect parcels after 5:30. It sucks to break your neck to get there before 8 to only be told that you cannot collect.

Will happily update my rating to 4 or 5 stars when they go back to normal. They seem to still be using covid as an excuse to understaff the post office, resulting in massive queues at all times of the day. Only one window open out of three usually, meaning when one old person takes forever to withdraw cash or there's a passport application or a person with a bag of parcels, the rest of the people have to wait for an hour sometimes. Pre-covid, the post office was open at all three counters, and then also open at the front shop counter after normal Post Office hours so you could post letters at 2am if you wanted. The current supervisor doesn't like doing that so the post office out of hours counter is permanently closed now. Also, they used to be open very late, even on weekdays, but again, using covid to reduce opening hours. Now close at 1045pm every night when pre-covid it was 1 or 2am every night. Agree with previous reviews about the black guy though - he is always far above and beyond good customer service amd when not serving ue is vusy cleaning or stacking, and frankly makes all the Asian/Indian staff look bad.

I was at a enpath.....I had to send back a large power bank to Amazon, but royal mail do not accept it,so for the first time being let down nicely by royal mail, they did advice me to go to the one shop, who are agents for Hermes.....keeping it short, they have a self service.......I HATE SELF SERVICE,so I spoke to who looked like the manager, explaining I'm new to this;he gracefully, was very informative, and clearly explained what I need to do,the only snag I came across ,was you have to know the weight of the item, thankfully the post office was only a couple minutes away, and where more than happy to accommodate me.....
Irrespective of the fact that I will receive a rebate of the postage from Amazon....I reckon it was far cheaper than royal mail......so next time I have a large package to send To my family...I will be using them....

NOTE FOR LESS HASSLE IF YOU WANT YOU CAN ,DO MOST OF THE BOOKING ONLINE TO HERMES,EVEN PAYMENT,THEN PICK UP, THE LABEL (SO NO PRINTING REQUIRED BY YOU)AT THE DROP CENTRE.....EH VOILA PROBLEM SOLVED.....THE ONE I USED IS SITUATED IN BELLINGHAM....
