Visited late afternoon Sunday 27 Sep. Completely forgot to wear the mask (my fault), was not prevented from entering, buying, or paying for goods. Staff too busy yapping amongst themselves to notice. Not impressed. This place, however, has a good range of goods for sale. They certainly need to get a grip on the mask issue!

Lovely shop with everything you need. The baked goods are clearly freshly baked and delicious, especially the Welsh cakes. Friendly staff.

This is a great shop with some good staff but was in there this morning for third time this week and served on till by a portly man with very thin hair , bought bread and wine etc and bread was advertised as on offer i.e. not reduced as cashier assumed so queried it and he was adamant it would have a sticker on it ((which it did not need as it was Not reduced) went back to the sales shelf promotion with him and he turned back to the till dumping my bread down with no apologies just gave my difference in cash back , if staff cannot communicate politely dealing with the public as an ex-retail manager I would put them on duties they are not involved with the customers.
This is a good store with good selection of goods but could be better if customer relations were good.
Was served earlier this week by a young guy with tattoos and he was extremely helpful in every way when I was paying , totally opposite and type of staff that is needed .
Found out from my till receipt his name was Nigel.

Wonderful shop with huge selection. Welsh cakes and Bara Brith particularly good. Useful shortcut via the newspaper stand.

As opposed to the other reviews on here, as someone who was visiting; the place was great. Friendly staff and wide range of products.

A package to Europe was sent off from the post office in Aberaeron as a postal receipt had to be placed inside this package it couldn't be sealed before arriving at the post office. The value of the items inside was substantial. The girl behind the counter insisted on sealing said package herself which I thought strange but this I allowed however as this was going to Europe I was apprehensive. When the package arrived it was open and empty ! Obviously it was NOT sealed correctly... Never ever allow post office staff to seal your mail because in all likely hood your items will not reach their recipients..... I cannot afford to lose such a sum of money like most people and I'm very angry..... If I cannot get my refund on items sent I shall take action. Tuaght me a valuable lesson not to trust other people

Superb range of local good quality products, all to be spoilt by ignorant fat man, rubber gloves, scar on neck on the check out. No hello, goodbye, please, thank you, just yacking across to colleague on cigarette counter.
Other shops in Aberaeron sell food if you want to be valued as a customer.
