We had Christmas Lunch here with family. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Proffessional, helpful staff. Surroundings festive but not over the top. Very relaxed. Nice welcome on arrival and food lovely. Only the puddings were a slight let down however the cheeseboard that followed made up for it. Would book again and would recommend

I liked this place it's a small farm like dwelling including modern restaurant and even a free admission small farm animals housing. There is also a green house selling plants and flowers.
The Ensuite facilities are modern contemporary style fixtures and fittings.
Enjoyed my stay here , especially patio doors from room opening to grassed lawn and lake view with ducks too!

An absolutely lovely place. Very scenic, complete with a selection of farm animals. The coffee is wonderful. Perfect for families, or for just a quick drink and catch up.

My opinion is skewed simply because I couldn't eat any of the non-vegetarian dishes. I went here for a Work do and the atmosphere was exceptional. The only downside was the food. Nonetheless, I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

My colleagues however, waxed lyrical about the food. Most opted with the Steak + chips option. The food presentation was good - the chips being the silver lining for me. I ordered a rice dish and I wasn't happy with the consistency, leaving me unsatisfied. The provided sauce was okay and the extra chips were sufficient to fill my stomach.

Superb place if you're looking to book it for a Work do or just for a regular night out. There is a quiet eating area and the main hall is reserved for bookings, complete with a dance floor and in-house DJ.

What a fantastic place to eat. Came here with work colleagues for dinner. Food was exquisite. Service was exactly what you would expect. The building is very contemporary, by has retained lots of original features. What a great place to dine. Totally 5* experience !!

The food was good but could of been a bit hotter ie plates warmer.
Plenty of choice, reasonable priced but didn't have any real ale available.
Probably go somewhere else next time because of that.
The although the service staff where very pleasant it lacked someone in charge as we had to ask twice for drinks and plates to be cleared away.
These are only small items but restaurant only had 3other tables apart from us.

I didn't actually visit the restaurant, I visited the small bespoke retail shops down the side. There are around 12 shops all selling something different. I visited the Vally Mist shop. They sell lots of natural products including vegan lipbalm, loofah, micellar water and a host of other things which are definitely worth a look. Joanne the owner is lovely and is happy to discuss all her products with you.
If you're looking to kill a few hours you can't go wrong.

Worst breakfast myself and my partner have had. Toast came out 10 minutes before the food. Food arrived and was cold. Sent it back and all they had done was microwave it up as my cut sausage then ended up on my partners plate after coming back. Grilled tomato may aswell have just come out the fridge and cut in half and put on plate. This place used to be very good but will not be returning unless things change for the better.
