Cute old fashioned pub with delicious home cooked comfort food and hearty portions. A very friendly atmosphere and a great spot for a gentle stroll in the countryside afterwards. I thoroughly recommend this pub and we will be back!

I stopped off here for a refreshing pint recently after a walk with some friends. A lovely village setting, reasonably priced drinks and a nice outdoor seating area. Worth a visit if you are in the area and like a more traditional pub atmosphere.

Under new management local couple have taken over and this place and the atmosphere has dramatically improved. My favourite country pub I always feel extremely relaxed after visiting this fantastic hidden gem. it's got a fantastic atmosphere, and it's always a pleasure to visit this friendly pub. Comfortable seats, great beer and good food. Staff & customers are very friendly.

Following a 4.5 mile walk, a beautiful bacon roll and hot coffee was the order of the day. Perfect. Open fire and great atmosphere 👌
