Lichfield & District Crematorium

Good morning.
Can you tell me why you state that the Crematorium is open 24 hrs.
It clearly is not, as I have just been to put flowers by my husband as it's
3 years today since he was taken from me.
I was there at 6 am and it's all locked up.
If I was younger I would have climbed the fence.
Anyone intent on doing damage would soon get in,
So why say it's open 24 hrs, then lock it.

My husband passed away on 6th December 2017 from cancer. We knew his time here was short so we went to plan it before he died. Jo Walker was lovley. By the time we left everthing was arranged. When it came to his passing . It was just one call to Jo to arrange the date. The service was just how james had planned it. Then it was a small family service to bury his ashes a few weeks later. Sorry its taken a while to write a review. Thankyou for all your help and support. It's a beautiful place he has been laid to rest. Thankyou.

First time coming here for funeral service as crematoriums go OK, nice surroundings as you can expect from a site which is in the country side.

An absolutely beautiful resting place for our daughter. The staff are so friendly and really helped us through such an emotional time. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend Lichfield & District Crematorium highly enough.

Website states closed, been before on a Sunday, so I drove here grounds should be open according to signs and there not. 5 people been here in an hour and all said its normally open

Overall as crematoriums go it’s a lovely place to go, not sure the choice to organise the massacring of the entrance hedges with a tractor mounted hedge cutter rattling and banging along was the most appropriate decision to be made for Mothering Sunday morning when people were coming to pay their respects, especially as for some unknown reason the site was closed the previous Sunday with no explanation.
