Spa at Ye Olde Bell

Enjoyed the bar fries and onion rings. Room was ok, just the hot water was very hot in the bathroom so be careful.
Swimming pool, sauna, and steam room was pretty good. There were some people hogging the jacuzzi through the whole hour and 15 we were there but that's on them not the hotel.

Wonderful place with excellent amenities delicious food. Noise level of inconsiderate guests is down to individuals. Using their phones in the spa and having to listen to their rubbish is very annoying and doesn't help in trying to relax. Staff are excellent and therapists outstanding.

This was such an amazing relaxing experience. Hands down the best spa I’ve ever been to. The treatments were great! Performed by what I call well trained staff. The facilities were A*. The food was everything. If I could afford to go there every week for opulence and relaxation I would. The only down side is it almost seems like there is no one on reception when you call. I have had to call multiple times to get hold of anyone. Therefore it would be good if they had online booking.

I am leaving this review after talking to an unhelpful staff member in the spa when I wanted to book a spa day. I found her not helpful, she didn't explain things matter fact she made me feel like I was wasting her time as she kept referring me to the website. She could have guided me on accessing the info online and explained the package being sort after. As a four star spa, I expect excellent service and your staff to speak to its customers with respect and dignity. I will not be staying and will take my money were its appreciated.

Loved our visit to Spa at Ye Olde Bell, 5 star in everyway from the facilities, cleanliness, massage, facial and food. But in particular mention to the staff who were so friendly, helpful and attentive. We have visited many spas but felt this one was by far our favourite the overall vibe felt personal and we had such a fantastic day! Thank you

Only a small Spa compared to what we are used to, but nicely done. We were only able to book a 2 hr slot as they were busy. It was a bit expensive at £40 each, but as we were staying in the hotel for dinner, bed & breakfast, the night before we weren't too worried.
The staff were efficient & regularly cleaning & everywhere well maintained. Maybe they need to evaluate how to identify your bath robes as someone accidentally took the wrong robe & had another ladies watch in it. So over an hr must have been spent with the staff trying to locate who was wearing the wrong robe

One of the best spas I've been to- for facilities, cleanliness, amazing staff and relaxed atmosphere- they literally have it all!
I paid £40 for 2hrs access and practically had the place to myself.

I've been to spas at the following-Seaham Hall, Rudding Park, Ramside Hall and Lodore falls- and I personally feel this spa was the best overall for value, facilities and friendliness!

I'll definitely be back and I've already recommended to all of my friends 💓

Amazing experience. The best spa I've ever been too and I've visited quite a few both abroad and in the UK. Great helpful staff. Loved the feeling of the place and how cosy it was.
