York Cottage Spa

Yesterday was my daughter’s birthday and we adventured to the York Cottage Spa. It was absolutely wonderful. The surroundings were so relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. The spa facilities were just spot on, the massage was fab! As for the food platter it was so delicious, fresh and presented beautifully. What made our day even more special was the friendly and welcoming staff. We didn’t want to leave! Such lovely memories. Thank you all.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Beautiful grounds, felt so relaxed by the end of the day. Melanie and Kylie were so attentive, made my friend's hen do very memorable. Adding balloons and setting up our afternoon tea in the conservatory, our treatments were great and they frequently askee whether we wanted refreshments or if we needed anything can't praise them enough for their hospitality

Just returned from a stay here. Wonderful massage and facial from Chrissy. Cute boutique spa, in peaceful countryside. Delicious grazing board and lovely breakfast. Bed was super comfortable, room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Perfect for a solo traveller, couple or group. I will be back. Thank you so much

Absolute perfection! The most amazing spa day with kind service, full use of all facilities including spa,sauna and aromatherapy. Would definitely recommend having a few treatments to get the full pamper.

I visited this spa for the first time with my Mum and we absolutely loved it. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were taken through to the spa area. Everything was clean and the set-up is so cosy and homely. The aromatherapy massage was so relaxing too. Afternoon tea was delicious, too. I’d highly recommend this spa. We only stayed for the day but I’d happily book an overnight stay in the future.

Beautiful! I attended with my husband and we had a lovely morning. The service was excellent, and we had full use of the facilities including spa, and sauna. We had a warm welcome on arrival, and offered in the lounge . We were then shown the facilities, and had access to tea, coffee and water throughout. We upgraded our treatments, which were lovely. After our morning session we had afternoon tea, which was delicious.

We recently went to the York Cottage Spa as a special treat for my friends 50th. The 3 of us had exclusive use of the spa which was great and it made the day really special and relaxing. The spa is really lovely and comfortable. When we arrived Chrissy showed us around and made sure we knew where everything was, she made us feel very welcome. We had a massage which was amazing. We also had an afternoon tea which we all really enjoyed, a vegan afternoon tea was also provided for myself and I definitely didn't miss out, it was absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend the vegan wraps! This really is a lovely little spa and we definitely want to visit again in the future. I would probably look to add on an extra treatment next time and possibly look to make it into an overnight stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A really lovely spot! Lovely interior design (the front room with the velvet sofas and antique screen was my favourite) very caring service and like nothing was too much trouble, and a super relaxing massage. Also disability friendly (I have a sitting disability, but don’t use a wheelchair, so harder to comment on what that would be like). Highly recommend.
