Perfect cafe and deli!
First trip today with family. Food was lovely and fairly priced, cream tea portions very generous including a huge pot of tea.
Staff very helpful
Deli is very well stocked and locally supplied
A perfect little gem, we will be back again (soon hopefully!)

Good selection of well priced and wholesome food.
Well informed and polite Staff keeping to local government restriction policies.
Nice "homemade" produce, some with a lovely festive touch!

Went for breakfast. Excellent choices - full/small cooked, variety of eggs, nutty porridge and more. Not cheapest, but good value for what tou get. Friendly helpful staff, and great shop/deli attached with lots of great local goods. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Was good all round , seen and eaten better poached eggs though, they were all over the place and bit over done, toast was hardly toasted bread (why do places serve toast so untoasted?) the black pudding was practically raw so I left it.

Tea was awful , weak as anything, served in horrible mismatched crockery with an awful tiny cup to use.

Did not want to make a fuss as in a rush.

Girl waitress was pleasant as well and did not want to give her grief either.

I visited cafe first time with a friend at the beginning of last week, we found friendly staff, lovely food and lovely surroundings. I had the seafood platter and my friend had cheese platter, delicious !
So good in fact that I returned two days later with my sister inlaw. A new favourite !

Being local, we have supported this small cafe/deli for 10 years including through covid and the out of seasons period which obviously
Are quiet times , so very suprised to be turned away today because I had my small dog with me who has also being welcomed for the last 10 years!! Think this is the wrong approach from the owner as we are now in the staithe & Willow across the road giving them our hard earned money ,made very welcome & our dog even got a sausage !!

Visited recently for the first time with a friend, we had an excellent cup of tea and an equally delicious slice of cake. Will be returning soon. 😋
