Sherwood House Dental Practice - Loughborough Dentist

My son who has just started attending appointments by himself has visited this practice twice now, he was seen on time which is good, staff have been polite and friendly towards him. However on both occasions he was offered a scale and polish with the hygienist for the extra cost of £40. On both occasions he was not given the option of the scale and polish (if clinically needed) which should be done as part of the band one treatment. He has a small amount of scale on his front tooth which they did not remove as part of his appointment which I feel they should have offered to do. I feel like they have taken advantage of a young person who didn’t know he could get this done as part of his appointment but that he could only get it done with the hygienist for an extra cost of £40.

Excellent reception. Efficient and friendly. I saw dentist lady downstairs.,..sorry don't know her name. She was efficient and took X rays...informed me that I needed clean and polish.

Sherwood House has been my dental practice for a few years now. The commute from Leicester to Loughborough is trivial compared to the level of care and service received. Guys I love the Tik Tok videos. It shows the place is fun for staff to be at and a happy practice means happy patients! Keep up the good work!

Been with them for 2 years. The dentistry itself is fine. Customer service is awful. The quite frequent cancellation of appointments on the day of appointment is annoying. On my last visit they demanded I signed some terms and conditions on entry, wouldn’t show me what the terms and conditions were and then told me to leave as I wouldn’t sign the mystery terms and conditions without reading what they were. Wasting an afternoon of rushing around to get to the appointment. They weren’t even bothered that they had wasted my afternoon. Apparently I was in the wrong for not blindly agreeing to their terms that I was not allowed to reas that could have said anything. Very frustrating, waste of time. Strange company. Won’t be going back.

I have had a very professional experience with this dentist. I have been scared of dentists for years, but they have made me relaxed as much as they can. I wish I had the bravery?, confidence to see them before. My thanks to the whole surgery in giving me their courtesy and kindness.

The dentist was really helpful and informative. Both the dentist and nurse made me feel really comfortable and I was spoken to in detail about my treatment plan.

I was 15 minutes late for my appointment got held up in traffic. I was told if i could wait they would try and fit me in, 10 minutes later i was called in had a x-ray and the work on my tooth was done. First class treatment thats why i gave them 5 star's

Lovely staff, always polite and look after you, the dentists always do a cracking job and give excellent advice, its simple really, treat others how you would like to be treated, with respect and you will get the same in return.
