Smile & Face Dental Practice

I have been with this practice for over 10 years. Reception staff are welcoming and friendly and very helpful.
I had a problem with a tooth this week and although my usual Dentist couldn't see me, as she was fully booked, I was given an appointment with Kiran the same day. He was kind, helpful and professional.
I normally see Sylvia, who is very kind, and always makes me feel welcome and at ease.
Excellent service from all the staff, thoroughly recommend this Surgery.

I was referred from here to complete an emergency tooth extraction. I opted to go to a private clinic for the extraction because the pain was so severe.

4 days after the appointment I discovered that the referral had only just been posted that day. Apparently placing an emergency referral in a post box that is collected by a courier once a week is deemed a suitable method to deal with an issue that is deemed an emergency.

I then requested that the the referral be e-mailed to the private clinic. It took a total of 5 telephone calls over the span of two working days to get the receptionist to email it, finally at 5:30pm on the end of the second working day. I even pleaded for it to be done on the second day afternoon and got told she was too busy but had a note to do it.

Of course it's now too late to deal with the private clinic so I will have to wait until tomorrow.

I don't like to complain but how someone can leave someone in pain when an email would help speed up the issue is completely beyond me.

You won't get your teeth pulled out here but dealing with the support staff will feel like pulling teeth

Had a further general check-up and was delighted to be seen again by Grace who, is very good and offers sound advice. Seen Yang, the hygienist for the first time who was "the best". If you are nervous at all, definitely book to see him as he is gentle and reassuring (I remained seated for the duration of the clean for the firs time, ever). Thank-you Grace & Yang!

A huge thank you to the team at Smile & Face for donating much needed boxes of toothpaste to our local food bank. Families are struggling to afford hygiene and sanitary products just as much as food so it's been wonderful to be able to get help from our, community spirited local practice.

I have had my teeth looked after at this brilliant practice for at least 10 yrs. There have been changes to staff over the years but they have always been kind and helpful. I’d thoroughly recommend them to anyone. … even nervous people. My current dentist, Sylvia, is excellent and a typical example of how good I think this practice is.

Amazing practice, everybody is so friendly. Grace is the best dentist I have EVER visited she is so gentle, she explains everything. I am so nervous of attending the dentist, she puts me at ease. Fantastic service. Keep up the fantastic service.

I have recently joined the practice as an NHS patient and am very happy with the service I have received so far. I was very nervous having not been to the dentist for a few years but Grace has done an amazing job in reassuring me and my teeth are feeling great!
