Was pleased to sign myself and family up as NHS patients, to see a specific dentist that had been recommended by a neighbour. However, although I was in need of a filling asap, could not get an appointment for over a month (unless I wanted to be seen privately, then it would be a few days!). When I had to rearrange an appointment I was told I'd have to wait for a further 2 months, then this appointment was cancelled by the surgery the day before. Was then told I would have to wait another two months to see my dentist. Additionally, although I signed up to see a specific dentist, I was given appointments to see other 'supply dentists' without my knowledge or agreement, and told "NHS patients just have to see anyone". So I would've had to wait approx 5 months in all to see the dentist I originally signed up with, even though the surgery was aware I was urgently in need of a filling. The receptionist was very clear that "if I didn't want to wait then I could go just somewhere else", but always added that "if I agreed to pay as a private patient then I could be seen within a week or two. Really not impressed with what I feel is totally inappropriate and unprofessional treatment of NHS patients. Needless to say, I decided to go elsewhere and was see within a week by a very competent dental practice where my family's dental care (including a child) can be provided in a professional and caring manner. Definitely would not recommend this practice.

Been with this dentist practise since I was a little girl. But the receptionist recently made it abundantly clear that the new owners do not want to treat nhs patients anymore. Made it very difficult for me to see the dentist I wanted and sighed loudly when I questioned that. Since when is it bad to be under the nhs!?
I have had to move dentists. Very sad about this. However, Davies and Seeley were happy to have me on their books and didn’t make me feel like a second class citizen for being nhs.

I was happy with the overall experience. I have visited many dental surgeries over the years and even after just one visit Dr Gaurav Mehta and lovely Nadia Reynodsis are on top of my list. Great practice, service and staff. Definitely recommend.

It's difficult to review as Mr Mehta I find to be a very good and approachable dentist. He explains everything etc. The other partner, I forget his name, doesn't speak to you about what is happening, advice etc. There is a particularly obnoxious receptionist, that tries to make people feel uncomfortable about being an NHS patient. Now I have been an NHS and private patient at other dental surgeries and never been treated unequal. I find her superior tone somewhat laughable, but also quite frustrating. There are other approachable receptionists there, but in her outspoken opinion, when they give you a service, they must be wrong. Very dissapointing and doesn't encourage me to become private.

Always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. My treatment was explained clearly, and I was given a treatment plan, so I knew exactly what the cost of my treatment was going to be.I would highly recommend.

After waiting two years for an appointment I arrived five minutes early
I listened to the dentist discussing teeth whitening with the patient for the next twenty minutes
When the patient finally departed the receptionist politely informed the dentist I had another appointment and was in a desperate hurry
He and his nurse then chose to continue discussing the obviously lucrative teeth whitening for another five minutes at which point I had to leave
I have been at this surgery for twenty years plus and i am furious with the total lack of regard for my time
