High Street Dental Practice

This review reflects on the receptionists of this practice, not on the dentists.
On my first-ever appointment in early 2017, a routine check, the receptionist overcharged me. By the time I got home, she had realised her mistake and reimbursed me immediately, which was nice and she also sent an apology card (the enclosed Disney princess sticker was a bit odd, but hey, if that floats your boat).
The receptionist had also gotten my details wrong, which I asked her to change after this first visit. I rang this same receptionist when I wanted to change the date of my second routine check, because I had the flu. She told me that I wasn't in the system and that I had called the wrong practice. I was a bit taken aback by her snooty reply and manner, because 1) I know my practice and 2) surely a service provider should try and retrieve a clients details as well as they can before suggesting that the client doesn't know what they are doing.
An hour later I got a passive aggressive voicemail message from her colleague, telling me that I had missed the appointment. I called back and as it turns out, the receptionist hadn't been able to correct my details within the past 6 months, which is why she couldn't find me on the system. She apologised with a total lack of empathy and asked me if I'd like to reschedule (the nerve!). No thank you! I'm sure there are plenty of other dentists in Witney with friendlier and more competent receptionists.

Like a lot of people I’ve always been a bit nervous of going to the dentist but my dentist at this practice really put me at ease on my first appointment and made everything a lot less stressful than normal. Since joining I’ve had a few check ups and treatments and am really pleased with the level of service, the standard of care, the professional and friendly staff and most importantly, the results. My teeth have never looked better! I couldn’t recommend this practice more.

I have been to many Dentist over the last 30 years. this is far the best i have ever been to. very understanding and professional. did a awesome job. me like many are not very happy going to the dentist but this place took all of that away. after my experience with this great practice i dont no why i worried so much. cant thank the people here enough. First time at this practice and it was excellent, from the friendly welcome at the front desk to the Assistant nurse and the dental surgeon was absolutely brilliant, Mrs Owens will now be my regular dentist,

Rosie the dental hygienist is so friendly and made me feel at ease. She did a great job with my teeth. Definitely going back again!

Just had my six month check up, even with all the covid 19 restrictions and guidelines. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional as always. Thank you

I have been a patient of High Street Dental Practice for around 30 years now. Dr Baboolal and the team have always provided first class care to myself and my family.
Recently I had surgery for a front tooth implant performed by Verj Tooray. The care he took through several appointments to ensure the implant surgery was successful and that the replacement tooth was a good fit and colour match was exemplary.

Fantastic dentists, very welcoming and very efficient. I had a crown and bridge treatment and it worked out quicker and less expensive than the treatment recommended by the NHS dentist I had been seeing.
5 stars is not enough in my opinion.
