Barsley's Department Store

Always a lovely department store albeit very expensive. It is very old school, but has a plethora of lovely gifts and household items. Really enjoy browsing round this store.

I always enjoy shopping at Barsley's - it reminds me of how shopping used to be when I was younger. They have a good range of items at reasonable prices and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have a free privilege club scheme which gives member discounts, vouchers and special members only shopping days. It's lovely to be able to shop in a proper department store as there are so few left now. I'm so glad Barsley's have managed to survive in the current economic climate. Long may they continue to serve the local community.

It was a pleasure to shop in Barsley's. The assistants were very helpful. In all departments. We bought two Parker Knoll recliners.
(Which were delivered on time.
So comfortable I fell asleep and missed my TV programme!)
To finish the day we had lunch in restaurant. An excellent lunch served by a pleasant waitress. The toilets were excellent
All in all a joyable experience.

A delightful old style department store with friendly service and a wide choice of goods. Ladies Department upstairs stocks well known brands. Gift and card department downstairs, as well as soft furnishings, menswear, shoe department and toys.

Visited Barsley family run Department store in Paddock wood with my Mum and Dad. They were pleasantly impressed. Very good range of products and homeware.. took in some coffee's in the upstairs cafe.. very nice.

Lovely small department store filled with lots of clothes such as joules, white stuff superdry etc. Also stocks unusual furniture childrens toys bed linen and kitchenware. Very good prices in the sale.. especially blue cross

As ever, the staff were very helpful, lovely selection of Ladies clothes. The gents selection would be better if there were a few more 40-65 year old styles.
