I contacted Sage (manufacturer)directly to sort out this matter, but was informed that I should send my machine to a UK address in order to make us of my warranty. When i informed them that I prefer not to involve third parties, but I AM WILLING TO COVER THE LOGISTICS COSTS, they suggested to contact Harts of Stur since I bought my product from their website.
Today I did what the manufacturer asked me to do and contacted Harts of Stur, in order to send them my food processor and forward it to the manufacturer. I was told that they do not offer this service and have to make other arrangements.
I invested my money in this machine as I read a lot of good reviews about it and comes with a 30 year warranty... Which seems I cannot make use of it simply because I am not residing in the UK.
At first the assistant who answered my phone call was checking with the director if this can be done, and without a valid reason she said they cannot assist me with this. At one point she became arrogant and transferred my call without even telling me. It seemed that i was transferred to another guy who repeated the same thing over and over again that I should find other alternatives as they are not willing to help... Not to mention they were lying to me that they are checking my warranty without even bothering to ask who's calling and regarding what.
Basically from my experience, Harts of Stur have no after sales support whatsoever! I was willing to cover all the logistics costs, contacted the manufacturer myself, therefore all they had to do is forward my machine to the manufacturer but they refused.
Totally disappointed !!
