Yet again, more issues attempting to return faulty items! Bought a Vax carpet cleaner and the pump failed whilst cleaning one carpet. Obviously not the fault of Argos, but their system is what fails them. Tried to return last week and they had alarm issues, after waiting for a while they then said they couldn't reopen and it was too late to go elsewhere. This week they said I had to call Vax first... Vax closed until Monday! Apparently I need to call to get an authorisation code for refund... Absolute joke. I bought it from Argos and the refund comes from Argos, so why do I need an authorisation code for something they say they will refund???

Really small store compared to others, but I found it a nice experience to just take my time and browse their catalogue to see what treat I can buy my Husband for my return journey home, he wants too much from this new edition, and is always leaving hints, I hope he likes what I got him.

Reasonable waiting time. Friendly staff. Car park at the back of the shops is close by. Their tills don't always accept my Nectar card. Old ones perhaps?

Went to return a kettle as it was faulty has a 2 year warranty .Went to the back counter and the lady said you need to go to the tills , so i did . Then the assistant on the till did not know how to proceed with my issue so he asked for help and surprise surprise it was the lady i spoke to when i walked in . The kettle over boils which i found dangerous she said your warranty is now with Bosch . It was 6 days over the first year warranty ,no offer to send it back to Bosch she just wanted to wipe her hands of it .I try to shop locally and support local business .Ended up getting a new Kettle from John Lewis and they give you an extra years warranty for free . Won't be going back to you .

Don’t order anything that weighs over 10kg unless you fancy a long walk with a heavy item. Despite the store having rear doors with vehicle access, you can’t collect large items due to mysterious ‘Health & Safety’ reasons but won’t assist in getting your purchases to the car. Thanks Argos.
