If you're after good customer service then sadly this isn't the Argos store for you. Granted all firms that use internet ordering will have some issues from time to time, but the complete lack of empathy from this store is beyond belief. Not only do they not believe that their own app and website can say a specific item is in stock yet it apparently isn't, there is then no willing what so ever to accept the customers point of view and come to a reasonable resolution. Sadly, if it were possible to give minus stars, then I would be faced to give this store that score. Being in such a prime location, I would like to think that this specific store associates with it's clientele better, but this is the complete opposite. Poor form from this Argos retailer!

I went in with a rather odd situation as my order had a few problems(on the system side i will note) and i wad very happy with the help that Baz provided.
I appreciate i went to get my order at a pretty busy time so service was never going to be the fastest, but he was serving a good few people at once and still sorted out the issues i was having.

Very happy with the service that the staff and the contact centre provided for me-especially Baz

I had posted a review some time ago with 5 stars, however I have seen this store gradually declining. Until recent the final straw.

I have been shopping here for years and like many of yourselves spend a large sum.

I had a issue with a faulty item. And tried to have this exchanged. Apart form the item the way I was spoken to by the manager ‘Mandy’ was absolutely disgusting. No regard for customer and just basically walked off.

This was witnessed by several customers also.

Is this what the Argos culture is about? I understand the store and retail can be very pressuring to work in.

However taking this out on the customers will not yield any improvements. I have always been patient and courteous towards the staff here.

Considering this is in a prime location, continuing like this will only cement a toxic culture which will turn customers away.

Considering the continued pressure retail is under I suggest that the senior management review this store and its managers very carefully.
Its evident I’m not the only one.

Bought something online and customer service recording says to return in store. Went to store and spent 40 mins there to be told they can’t and it has to be done via customer service. Manager hid like a coward and refused to talk to me.

Placed an order for cordless vacuum cleaner and went to this store for collection on 7-May 2021.

I was given some old vacuum that was clearly opened and used by someone else.

I could of opened and checked the item when I was in the store. Why didn’t their staff check it properly before handing it to customer?

I will now have to go to there again for return today. Waste of time!

Had the worst possible customer service by Frozia/Fozia at Slough Bath Road Argos. Went to return a faulty headset that was only both 10 day ago to be told that since I didn't purchase an insurance an item cannot be exchanged. And her attitude was unacceptable.
