For a big shop you would expect them to have most items in but they don't . Still better than tesco direct. Down side is I always seem to buy a big item just before they offer a 10 pounds gift card.

We had purchased an electrical item which didn't work. We took it back the following day to be told because we tried it we couldn't have a refund. We insisted that was not true and the assistant went ti check, 10 minutes later he came back slammed the item by the till and demanded information ti process the refund. He rude, arrogant unhelpful and patronising never will i shop at this store again. was

Bought a smart TV for a gift but unwanted so ask for a refund which I believe was in my rights because I had plugged in to test it was classed as used and would not refund.! Appalling service saying they couldn't resell it as I'd plugged it in. Will not be purchasing from here again or any argos store. And to add, I asked what do I do with this unwanted item that I paid £299 for and the reply was put it on ebay 😕

Never have any stock in. Staff are incredibly lazy and rude! Always stood waiting even when I am the only one there. The Argos in Barrow is big but never have stock! Currys is much more professional if your looking for electronics.

Currently you are stopped at the door by staff and if you haven't ordered online to pickup you are turned away (Sept 20). No kiosk or catalogue to look at and there is no signage to indicate this.

Open plan, brightly lit store with handy parking outside the door. But like any Argos store there is the same faff finding the item in the mega catalogue, then queuing to pay and the long wait for it to come up from the warehouse. These days it's quicker to order online!

Considering this store is bigger than the old Argos (Dalton Road) they seem to have more products out of stock than they used to, but when they do have it in stock, they are quick to serve you and always with a polite and friendly manner.
I’m wondering if the stock issue is more a generalised problem with all Argos stores, forcing you opt for home delivery so they can charge you a kidney for it.

Not in stock, won't deliver to your house and won't even deliver to the store for collecting.
Just close this store down please
