TK Maxx

I like this branch of TK Maxx because it usually has a decent offering of cosmetics, clothes and homeware. They used to have excellent shoes before as well, but I find the quality and variety has decreased in recent years. However, I'd say if you visit, be prepared to really look for stuff yourself as, whenever I ask staff for help, they either tell me they don't have something (and I later find it myself) or they don't know where it is. There can also be terrible waiting times as usually not all tills are working, so maybe the store is understaffed? Don't know. Overall, it's OK but could do with some improvement in training the staff, keeping the store cleaner and maybe making better use of all the tills available if possible.

I found something nice that I wanted but I also found a member of staff who 'Clearly' had a problem with me being trans! And he was going around giving orders to other staff! What a nasty man! Shop was alright! He wasn't!

The choice is ok, not as good as Tottenham Hale TK. Nice and quiet. However, the queues pile up because the staff stand talking to each other at the tills and ignore your existence. My shopping time doubled because I was ignored. There's a lack of customer service skills, but at least I didnt have to waste more time talking to them. I work in customer services also and I'd get in trouble if I behaved like they did. Also, this isn't TK Maxxes fault but a guy kept trying to talk to me and he was making me uncomfortable in the shop. There wasn't any staff around so I couldn't bring it up to them, luckily he left after I ignored him for the 1000x

Busy store and didn't need any help from staff but managed to grab a bargain or 2! If you don't mind having a rummage your sure to find a real bargain at TKMAXX Very pleased with the bits I found 😀 would recommend for those that love a bargain 5*

Watch out for the samples shoes from Ocean laundry made from ocean plastic super comfort looking stylish to don't miss ...ideal for the winter time .....

Great stuff, great prices. The cashier left a tag pin on one of my items, and I was poked repeatedly by it before I knew it was there, but everyone makes mistakes, I guess, but need to be more careful. She was very pleasant at checkout, though.

I was looking for a woolly hat but they didn't stock any, however the store was organised and tidy, with clothing and shoes for all the family and a small section of household trinkets.

They sell returned faulty used products!

The item in the picture is a DKNY pre-school jacket that I returned after 2 weeks, due to the zip handle falling off somehow and the zipper being stuck. This was a fault with the jacket due to poor quality control. It was worn only thrice.

A refund was given and the next day, when shopping for a new jacket, I saw the I returned in the exact same place that I picked it up from before, with the zipper removed (by staff obviously), so this jacket does not close now, along with marks on the coat. The price was the exact same price that I had paid originally and there was no sign of it also noting that it was faulty. A poor customer will buy this for their child and then try to zip it up and a cold day and see that there is no zip?!
