The Works

Good selection of children's books at a good price but has a tendency to pile stuff on the floor so hard to navigate with a buggy.

Good range of things but the store, like all branches of this chain that I have visited, can be muddly when looking for something specific.

Staff are always helpful.

Good selection of childrens' toys and activities at very reasonable prices but a little difficult to negotiate around the store.

We love It! My favourite ice-cream is the chocotella, it's delicious!! But all of them are really nice besides everything is home made. Even the crepes and gofres are very yummy. Moreover, the staff is very attentive and polite. I really recomend it!

I have been here twice and both times I have left here disappointed. The service is not great and the ice cream is not to my liking. Now I love ice cream but theirs has an odd taste. I am not going back again.

Love this place, always great service, always polite staff, and the food is filling and not too expensive! Will come back again!

Just to clarify some of the other reviews, this is not the ice cream/waffle shop.
This "The Works" is the discount book shop.
This is a great shop for when you are looking for a birthday or Christmas gift.
It has some great book's and book box set's.
They also stock small toys, game's and thing's to make and do.
The prices are very agreeable as well, and won't break the bank.
At Christmas time they usually have a stocking filler section, goes down well with my boy👍
All in all an excellent shop and friendly staff.

Yet to find a dessert shop that is as good as The Works. I have tried my fair share of dessert places and not once have i enjoyed the desserts.

I would 100% recommend The Works. The staff is warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is cozy too
