I love this shop. Great selection of books and art materials. Great prices. Good gift ideas for children. I think this is a new shop. Staff friendly and helpful. Birthday cards usually on a 10 for £1 offer. Paperbacks usually on a 3 for £5 offer.

I cannot put into words by how impressed I am. The shop may look like a kids shop for stationary and toys like slime and stuff but no, they also have a small selection of art supplies as well. And not to mention about the price. I bought some oil paint (12 pcs) for only £3. I repeat...£3!! And don’t be fooled by the price. I bought this thinking that the quality was going to be horrible like the stuff you get in Poundland but boy was I wrong. The quality is absolutly outstanding. May not be as good as them £100, “popular” winsor & newton art supplies but it is an ABSOLUTE steal for the price ,100% would recommend. WHSmith can flip off, I’m buying all my paint brushes from here from now on. Thank you for existing mate.

The Works Guildford is a fun and friendly place to shop. The staff are always polite and helpful, and the shop is always clean, tidy and easy to get around. They always have what I go in for, and their goods inspire new ideas.

Always has want you want and so much choice I love making my cards and as i do a lot of them i need to able to pick up a bargain which the works always do dont take my advice go and see for yourself

I love this shop, it has a great huge selection of books, the staff is very nice and friendly. The price is great which is a bonus.
