A Warwick district council worker by the name of Paul Hughes trespassed onto my sisters family private property, where I currently live.
When I did not answer the front door. He climbed over piles of rubble (the house is currently under going repairs) through the back entrance of the garden, to continue knocking on my back door.
After a short chat with him. I explained that it is private property and we didn't need anything from the council.
He eyed up my long Gypsy Traveller hair and asked what we planned to do with our caravan which is parked on our driveway (also private property). I thought that was the end of it but no.
He then reported us for fraud to the job center without knowing our personal situation. Or the fact that my husband is a working man and we do not receive any benefits.
My sister and myself have both been interigated and treated like criminals.
I hope Warwick council will give some race relations and diversity training to its emploies. So in the future other citizens, who are simply trying to refurbish a family owned private property, back to a livable and useable standard. Are not treated like some benefit fraudsters based on their ethnic origins. Or just because they may have long hair and a caravan in their yard.
I am very upset by all the trouble that this has brought to my sick sister. And I am very distrubbed that racial stereotyping is still taking place in the year 2016 by a Warwick council worker.
Who said institutional racism is dead?? It is very much alive in Whitnash and Leamington Spa

SCHOOL TRANSPORT............WARNING TO EVERYONE WHO USE TRANSPORT FOR THEIR CHILDREN TO GET TO SCHOOL AND BACK AT SOME POINT YOU WILL BE OFFERED PUBLIC TRANSPORT OVER 12 week period They will not tell you the will withdraw the assistance transport when completed. Even if you feel your child isn’t fully ready to use the transport safely for whatever reason. I advise You to think very hard before taking up this training for your child. Think IS YOUR CHILD STILL GOING TO BE AT RISK????
Then think again. It’s not worth the risk and they can’t make you do this training. All this training is for is to save money for the Council And once done they don’t Give a DAM.

ALWAYS THINK TWICE AND PUT YOUR CHILDS SAFELY FIRST.

I’m a new tenant in a flat in Lillington and basically my bathroom sink is blocked has been blocked since I moved in two weeks ago the tap in the bath doesn’t work and water is leaking from the kitchen sink I can’t believe it

I moved to Warwick DC area in March 2020… cannot fault this local authority in any way at all. Staff at all levels have been genuinely helpful and interested in my issues over the last two years and have sought to take ownership and provide a solution on every single occasion. I feel very fortunate to be here under this local authority.

WDC is racist. They have problem whit documents and counting how many peaple living in they properity ,
That is insaine they give a family 2 +3 a one bedroom flat and they say that is ok or they say there is no children at all
Dump this is realy crazy because they treat people like animals , they have some people wich one recive a brand new home , even whit floring , and that is because they provide them a chocolate and coffe , they all of time looking for sollution and dont find it yet but in my case its bean over 5 years and still nothing , and all of that time im living whit my husbend and 3 children in one bedroom flat

Be careful they are good at getting people into even more debt during this pandemic it's set up for this reason they don't care about losing family members during COVID and very poor at sending put communications via post. They are most definitely not in this pandemic with us.

I unknowingly faulted on making recent payments in march 2021 through the fact I never got the memo. A billing method error had occurred where I was mistakenly put onto the email billing system instead of postal billing resulting in some vital letters getting missed and had unknowingly been sent to my junk email, even though I was still recieving the pink reminders by post so I thought nothing of it as I know the council is operating differently in this pandemic. WDC have now advised I deal directly through Bristow and Sutor. It has cost me 45 pounds in additional phones charges made to Bristow and Sutor at no point did WDC make me aware that it was a premium rate number they just told me I need to ring it. In addition to this through receiving no postal communication from wdc I wasn't aware of the amount owed prior to the cost being referred onto Bristow and Sutor. So I therefore also incurred additional costs of 85 pounds for summons and another 75 for compliance stage fee. I was only made aware of all this by post after the charges where already added ( the post miraculously worked then! ) , it was then I rang WDC and was immediately advised to ring a premium rate number at no point was I made aware it was a premium rate number. The council are trying to get us into more debt be very careful people trust only yourself. You are in this pandemic on your own. I even had family member pass last month because of this pandemic recently the council don't care about the loss of people lives in covid so don't bother telling them. We are all just numbers to them. Now I'm up at night watching my security cameras waiting for debt collectors to come to my house in morning the council want us to suffer and we are some more than others. Trust no one especially Warwick District Council they want you in debt so its easier for them to extort your hard earned money through a side company called Bristow and Sutor based in Redditch which is a premium rate number. You have to speak to a robot for the first 10 minutes no call to Bristow and Sutor is short its a scam they want to keep you on hold the longer you hold the more they make. Its easier to make money out of someone in debt as they cannot afford expensive solicitors. The council don't seem to go after the big fish in town they pretty much do what they want.

Just called general repairs about a communal stairway issue, woman was extremely rude. No interest in my complaint, no offer to help. I will do it myself and our the rubble into the street, then the council can act a bit faster.

You are a land lord with responsibility, how dare you be so rude woman to me

After 3 years I've still not had the repair done, atrocious attitude in the phone this morning, reading reviews it seems that whoever spoke to me, spoke to these guys too. Ridiculous, honestly ridiculous. Get a job where you don't have to deal with customers.
