B&Q Clacton-on-Sea

Nobody available on the floor to help with getting a piece of wood down. When I paid for another item and mentioned this to the cashier listlessly draped behind the counter, he simply responded with a disinterested "No" with no offer to call someone. I then said it does not look like anybody is interested in helping customers. Again he replied "No". Sort of sums up B&Q?

As all DIY store this is a big place nicely situated I found what I wanted im sure you will to I would recommend.

From my experience one of the best B&Q stores.
Well stocked , but it is the friendly and helpful team on site that make it special.
Check when peak or busy times are as it gets busy.
Its open late so go later in the day

Love B and Q. Classic shop. Got my massive bit of MDF cut up for me, picked up a couple of wicked jigsaw blades, what's not to love? Since we lost the Colchester store I've come to Clacton a few times and whilst it is more or less identical, I swear the vibe is different. It's like a whole different feeling walking in there. Totally much more cool than the Colchester branch was. Maybe that's why it closed.

No problems with the store just the surrounding area gets busy which holds you up getting in and out

Stock shows as available online but is not in the store, tried twice now, once click and collect and once I went in, wont bother with this store again

Just wanted small paint pots to touch up paint. Found them straight away and had plenty of choice.
Staff friendly and helpful.

Needed to ask for what I needed as it was not in the aisle on display but I saw it above in the racking and the member of staff obtained it without any problems.
